Connect up to four 4K HDMI sources to one HD display with this DVDO 4K HDMI 4x1 Switcher | 4K HDMI Switchfrom DVDO. The switcher can support up to 4K resolution video at 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2 compliance. Input cable equalization and signal regeneration compensation reduce the need for additional equipment by compensating signal loss when using longer cables or cascading multiple units.

The unit can transmit a 1080p signal 50'. Both automatic and manual switching are supported by the device by engaging or disengaging the switch button. Further control can be achieved with the included IR remote or other top-panel buttons.

A: That would not be possible with the DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor. If you want to combine the audio from your turntable, with a different video source and your turntable has a phono preamp built in, then you would want to use something more like BH #MU100527

Q: 2. Does the HDMI output still retain the full HDMI Audio output?

A: Yes it does. The Audio is still present on the HDMI output when using the DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor.

Q: 3. Is there a possibility of video latency with this device? I've had the problem with a cheaper Amazon HDMI audio splitter.

A: Even with processing, the latency on the DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor is minimal.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Roku Ultra player?

A: Yes, The DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor should work with the Roku Ultra and allow you to extract the audio so you can use it with TOSLINK SPDIF Digital or Analog speakers.

A: The DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor will take the input and output it the way it came in, i.e., if it comes in as stereo, it will output it the same way.

Q: 9. It looks like this is powered by 5vdc. Can I power it with USB rather than the power adapter?

A: The DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor does not have a USB port with which to intake power, so powering the audio extractor via USB is not possible. We recommend using the included power supply to power the DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor.

Q: 10. Is there an easy way to mount this flush with the underside of a desk?

A: We are not aware of any specific product to allow this.

[HDMI] I have a Pioneer krp-500m monitor, which has limited HDMI inputs and no optical output. I'm using this switch to connect a chromecast, ps4, and nintendo switch, while outputting the audio via optical to a sound bar. It works perfectly and the auto-switching is great. Even though I'm not using the HDR and 4K capabilities right now, it'll be nice to have for a future monitor and TV. 5

[1.155 lb] Once again, Gefen has produced a product of the highest standard for today’s high definition needs. I have been using Gefen HD switchers for everything 1080 and now needed a 4K/HDR switcher. There are other good brands out there that will get the job done but don’t do it quite as well as Gefen in my opinion. This switcher is flawless as far as function goes. I have not had any issues at all. Although I am using this switcher with the general settings, It can do a lot more with its custom settings to really expand on your home theater options. You get what you pay for here in this superb product that will last into the future as far as 4K/HDR goes. 5

[HDMI] I had previously bought an audio extractor from elsewhere that met all the specs but did not work on the Apple 4K TV. It was able to extract the audio (2-ch) but could not pass through the video at the same time. I had to return that one. After much hesitation, I went ahead and bought this unit, and it works as advertised! I'm also using AVocation matrix switches for both the HDMI and audio outputs, and the signals are getting through to all my TVs and speakers. I put the EDID on 2-ch, FWIW. 5

[HDMI] Purchase to split the Apple 4K audio in my Control4 home automation system. Worked flawlessly without issue. I am able to split the audio signal depending on where I am watching the Apple TV, this does not mean I can watch Apple TV simultaneously multiple rooms. 5
