A: It won't work on a standard EF mount because it had an EF-M mount. The M stands for Mirrorless so it only works for mirrorless cameras.

A: Yes, this is an MFT mount lens which will work on the GX85.

Q: 8. Is this IR Filter lens?

A: No, it's the opposite -- it lets IR light through rather than filtering it off.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the AIDA Imaging HD-100?

A: Yes it is. The Aida HD-100A camera has a CS mount that would work with the AIDA Imaging 12mm f/1.6 CS-Mount Lens.

Q: 10. Will this work on the BMCC with a MFT mount? The BMCC has a Super 35 sensor but the description says this Covers APS-C Sized Sensors. Will this create any vignetting on the BMCC?

A: I bought the 12mm 2.2 for the BMPCC, which has a sensor essentially the size of Super 16. I may be mistaken, but I thought the BMCC sensor is slightly smaller that Super 15. I'd recommend you check the Cinematography section of the Blackmagic Design forum to be certain.

[12mm] Great wide angle lens with extreme light sensitivity! Super affordable which makes the build quality a little questionable. This does not affect picture quality though. Great lens that gets the job done. I used it for machine vision applications. 5

[Manual Focus] I bought this lens to use with a In-line process camera for my laser processing work station. This fixed focal length long focal length lens worked perfectly and I was able to zoom the work area with a clear image. I recommend this product srongly for imaging where the working distance is a constraint. 5

[C] This 23FM25SP lens can even be used on 1 CCDs with a little dark vignetting at the corners. If you don't mind paying almost twice as much for a much bigger 25mm f/1.4 lens, you would do better with the 2/3 25mm f/1.4 Fujinon HF25SA-1, but otherwise the 23FM25SP is a great compact lens, superior to the cheaper M118FM25 and 23FM25L Tamron lenses. 5
