The ATEN CE100 Mini USB KVM Extender with superior video quality and built-in ESD protection allows access to a computer system from a remote USB console (USB keyboard, USB mouse, and monitor). It improves on previous designs by incorporating a compensation adjustment function at the Remote unit for greater video quality and using the CAT5e cable instead of standard cables to provide a neater, more convenient, and more reliable data transfer connection.

Q: 5. Can I get this rackmountable ?

A: This is rack-mountable. The rack mounting kit is included in the box.

Q: 6. So to clarify I have a TV that only has one HDMI output plug. However, I want to connect both my XBOX and Chromecast to the TV without having to change the two at the back of the TV each time. As such, it is my understanding that this item will allow me to plug this in to the one HDMI port and then I can plug in both my XBOX and Chromecast in to it and switch between the two by using the remote?

A: We do not believe this is the product you need. This is a splitter, it takes a single HDMI sources and duplicates it for multiple TVs to see. If you have a TV with a Single HDMI input, you need a Switcher to connect multiples sources to it. https://bhpho.to/2MCKbP5

A: You would be able to switch between the two devices using this ATEN CS64U 4-Port USB KVM Switch, by pressing the "HOT Keys" on your Keyboard.

Q: 10. Does the Multi-display feature work with only one unit or requires more for each display?

A: Multi-Display requires one unit per monitor up to a total of 8.

[0 to 80% RH] We just installed this and it works well. We had issues, but it was because our crimping tool bends a pin the wrong way. Keyboard, mouse, and screen. But it doesn't allow for a USB printer to work off the USB. I was able to add non-powered USB hub which bot hthe mouse and keyboard work off of, but no printer. 5
