[1.44 Mpps] ... to work work with my media room, where the main line comes into the house, and before it heads to my studio.

Works great and plug and play ease of set up.

Good delivery, too.

[Yes 1 RU] I replaced an older non-POE switch with this model, and added a couple POE devices to it. Everything up and running in a moment.

One thing to be aware of is the power supply for this switch is big and weighs more than the switch itself. This to be expected as it power over a 100W of POE devices.

[8.33 lb] I used this switch daisy-chained from another Netgear GS108 (non PoE), to connect my TV equipment to my wired network (TV, Sat Receiver, DVD, Chromecast Ultra.  Soundbar w/Google Assistant coming soon).  I want to free my WiFi from carrying everything, and not have 5 ethernet cables traveling halfway across my house, plus still have room for expansion.  I just plugged everything in and it all instantly worked!  Although I am not currently utilizing the PoE function, I plan on getting PoE IP cameras very soon.  I plan to purchase another and spread my wired network to the other side of the house too.

[8K] I needed a fanless ethernet switch with PoE+ for cameras and WiFi access points. This does the job well. I like that all ports can do PoE and that the unit is small. It comes with mounting screws and even rack mount ears.

[Auto-MDIX/MDI] Works well for environments that need a few POE ports for cameras, etc. I connected all my cameras and a monitoring server on the same switch for the best throughput between them. Working well so far!
