Surprisingly powerful and packed with features full-sized lights might envy, the black Nitecore TIP SE Rechargeable Keyring Flashlight Blackfrom Nitecore TIP SE Rechargeable Keyring Flashlight Blackfits nicely on a keyring, where it will always be at the ready. Its 500mAh battery recharges via USB Type-C, and the light has a one-click option to go straight to the 700-lumen turbo brightness level when you need bright light quickly. The Power switch turns the light on and off, while the TIP SE's main brightness settings—ultralow, mid, and high—are controlled by the Mode switch. You can turn on the light straight to turbo by holding the Mode switch for a full second. You have a choice of two operating modes: Demo mode shuts the light off automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity to save power, while in Daily mode the light stays on until you turn it off. You can switch between Daily and Demo with a simple press of the Power switch. The TIP offers big-light technologies such as Advanced Temperature Regulation to prevent overheating, precision digital optics technology for a long beam throw, and constant current circuitry for consistent performance. It has built-in overcharge, overdischarge, and short-circuit protection, and it stops drawing power automatically when fully recharged. Runtimes range up to 50 hours. Intelligent memory function turns the light on at the same setting as most recently used, and constant current circuit provides consistent flicker-free performance. [500 mAh ] I purchased the MH41 to use as a safety device while I run. Since I run at a very early (before sunrise) time in the morning and on a road shoulder, I need reflective clothing and a good illumination and signaling device to let drivers know where I am. This light functions very well for that purpose, but it is heavy. The turbo mode is extremely bright and overall the flashlight illuminates a long way off and has an efficient spread of white light from central to edge. I don't do Search and Rescue, but I would expect that it would be useful for that purpose, since it has a signaling mode, beacon mode and the necessary brightness to light a good area of territory. The flashlight comes with two rechargeable (in the light) 18650 Nitecore Li-Ion batteries, charger, lanyard, spare tail cap, etc., so it is a good value for the price. It is also waterproof, so you can use it in the rain. I can comment on the use of this flashlight for Law Enforcement also. While it would be useful as a general-purpose flashlight, as well as a self-defense, non-lethal weapon, it is too large and heavy to carry on a duty belt. It would probably best be left on the right front seat of a cruiser during rounds. For searching indoor and outdoor areas, it is very effective, due to its versatility and throw, so it's more of a general-purpose light. The light is so bright, however, that it will probably blind anyone who looks directly into it while on turbo mode, so each agency will have to determine policy if it's to be used for non-lethal defense. The only problem I have with the light, other than its weight, is that warranty service is done in China and the light has to be sent to B&H for them to forward it to the manufacturer for warranty service. That takes lots of time, so I figure that two to three months to get the light back is realistic. 5

[0.145 lb] Yes it's a bit pricey but it is the nicest keychain flashlight that I have ever owned. 3 best features: 1) 360 lumens option which is very bright; 2) a setting that will prevent the flashlight from going off by accident in your pocket for more than 30 seconds; and 3) a usb port to recharge. And, customer support where someone actually answers the phone. For a few dollars more get the extended 3 year warranty. I highly recommend this product. 5

[1x Built-In] I really like the feel of this light in your hand!! It's really super bright with good adjustable light outputs!! This light is really made for long distance throws!! The bean is really tight with not much spill! Good for hiking or just to play with!! I like it though!! Real high quality all the way!! Made really well!! 5
