Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit the Epson SureColor P9000?

A: If you asking about the size - 44 inch - it will definitely work for P9000. If you are asking about the print quality then I can say that this paper works beautifully with the printer.

Q: 2. How many 8x10's will this print?

A: In an ideal world with no waste at all, 10 ft is 1200 in, 1200/8 would translate into 150 prints. In reality it depends on your printer and the waste introduced before and after each print. For example I print 3 - 8x10 in a row, and my 4880 Epson printer leaves 0.75 inches on each end.So for every 3 8x10s I print, I use 25.5 inches. so 1200 in/25.5, is 47 prints with 3 8x10, in total that would be 141 8x10.And of course this is if you don't have to use some paper to clean you printer head.I hope this helps.

Q: 3. will this paper work on normal inkjet printers? or is it more for a dry lab type printer?

A: I have only used this paper on the Epson 4880. Luster setting etc.. Define normal?

Q: 4. Would this be compatible with Epson 7900 and 7880 printers?

A: I has Epson 7600 printer. It was great! Thanks.

Q: 5. Is this the roll I need for the r2000 printer? Thanks

A: No, this would not work. You would need 8.3 or 13 roll paper. We have two great options available for the 8.3 and 13 . Both are attached for you.

Q: 6. is this paper suitable for B/W prints?

A: You can print black & white as well as color on this paper.

Q: 7. I understand that this roll has a 2" core. I have a Epson P800 printer which takes a 3" core. Do you know of a 2" x 3" adapter so that I can use the roll?

A: This Luster Paper actually has a 3" core roll, so you should be good to go. Also take note that the roll assembly shaft has 3" adapters on it, & if you remove them you"ll have capability of doing 2" core rolls.

Q: 8. Is the finish on this paper comparable to the N-surface Endura papers from Kodak?

A: The Kodak PROFESSIONAL Inkjet Photo Paper, Matte (24" x 100' Roll), would be very similar in appearance to the N-surface Endura papers from Kodak.

Q: 9. Is this paper acid free - archival?

A: It is not stated by Epson as acid-free.

Q: 10. Where do I get an icc profile for this? I can't find it on the Kodak site for P800.

A: You can contact Kodak directly here for a compatible profile, if the option is not on their profiles site for the P800 specifically: https://kodak.globalbmg.com/en/contactus

[31.9 lb] I am a semi-professional photographer. I sell my photographs at local art shows. I for years I have used Ilford Smooth Pearl, but they increased the price and cut the roll size. Then I switched to Ilford Lustre, but they discontinued the product. So I gave the Kodak Professional Luster Paper a try. I really like the results, so I just ordered 2 more rolls. I am switching over to Kodak. I found that the paper is more flexible than the Ilford. The Ilford is more stiff. At first I thought this might be a problem and I might get fold marks in the paper. So far this has not been a problem at all. In fact with the Ilford, I had to sometimes flatten the paper with weights to get rid of the curl. The Kodak paper is a brighter white versus the Ilford Lustre. I had to change a setting in Photoshop, and now I am getting consistent results with my previous Ilford prints. For me this is a great product and value.

[240 gsm] This is my quality proofing/working paper. The white base and near perfect surface brings out the best and worst in every process—from checking an image at scale to nozzle checks—this paper reveals almost everything with clarity. It linearises near perfectly with a low(ish) ink load (245%) across all 6 colors at 1440dpi and the resulting ink surface is nearly perfect. This makes for fast, very high quality proofing. The base substrate is light, so more ink (2880) would require a lower ink load and slower head speeds to stop uneven surface expansion (and potential head strikes). The paper profiles beautifully and can emulate the fidelity and performance of better quality exhibition papers like MOAB Juniper which makes the transition across to final prints easier and more predictable. This makes it perfect to work through ideas on and it stacks flat in drawers without curl memory. A really impressive paper from Kodak (watermarked on the reverse) that beats Epson variants and produces great images that a lot of people enjoy. A great benchmark paper.

[240 gsm] This is probably the most glossy surface I got after printing on it. The price is great. I was able to get higher quality gloss prints than on other materials. If glossy gloss is required by clients, this is the way to go. I switched to it as my primary gloss photo paper. Sorted out out Lexjet Sunset gloss, since their 300 gsm got discontinued. Not as thick but awesome results. Of course free expedited shipping is a great plus.

[Single] We were looking for a 44 glossy photo paper for our Cannon printer and are so pleased with this stock for large architectural prints. We even used the standard profiles for our glossy paper on our printer and are so pleased with the color gamut.

[31.9 lb] I, mostly, print with an Epson Stylus Pro 79000 and find ALL Kodak roll papers to be excellent in all respects - including value-for-money. I wholeheartedly recommend all Kodak inkjet papers for use with the SP 7900.
