The Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Batteryfrom Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Batteryprovides the reliable power of a Titon lithium-ion battery in a slim, lightweight form. Perfect for run-and-gun work, sports, and live streaming, this compact battery powers your 14.4V camera, light, and accessories without weighing you down.

An LCD screen displays the remaining battery time down to the minute and features power three P-Tap outputs, each with charging input capability, and one fast-charge 5V, 2A USB Type-A output. The Titon Base can provide up to 8A of current on a continuous draw using its 68Wh capacity. It can be charged using the Anton Bauer P-Tap charger with one of the P-Tap ports. It also includes an integrated quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 mounting screw so it can be quickly mounted onto your rig.

Q: 1. Is this battery travel safe?

A: Yes, but it has to be a carry-on.

Q: 2. Two questions. One, does this have power output high enough to power an Atomos Ninja Flame? Two, can you charge it while it is in use, say while the camera is on a tripod during a shoot?

A: There should be no issues in powering the Atomos Ninja Flame with this, although we would not recommend charging this while in use.

Q: 3. So this version would work for the BMPCC 6k PRO as well? Dummy battery would be different for 6k and 6K pro?

A: The Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Blackmagic Design Pocket 4K/6K with 2-Pin Connector and LP-E6 Dummy Battery will work for the BMPCC 6K Pro. Instead of using the dummy battery, you will use the included Anton/Bauer P-Tap to Canon 4-Pin LEMO-Type Cable (36").

Q: 4. If I wanted to power A7siii and Ninja V (or similar monitor like a Shinobi 7 inch) how long would I get out of that combination (I am not a mathematician!). I understand not using the USB-C as its not powerful enough, using Dummy Battery?

A: You should get somewhere 4-6 hours or more with a a7S III and Ninja V with the Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery.

Q: 5. "Will this work for the red Komodo?" Is it just a cable/connection issue or a voltage/amp issue?

A: Yes, the Anton Bauer Titon Base Kit Battery will work with the RED Komodo. The cable/connection and voltage/amp requirements need to be met. Since the output voltage is 14.4V, all you need is a D-tap to 2-pin LEMO cable.

Q: 6. Does it matter which port you use to charge it?

A: No it does not. You can use any of the P-Tap ports for charging.

Q: 7. Wouls this power a Teradek Bolt LT750 Transmitter?

A: Yes, if you have the proper D-Tap cable for the Teradek.

Q: 8. Will the Anton Bauer Titon Base allow my R5c to shoot 8K raw 60fps?

A: No, the external power source needs to be USB with PD.

[14.4 VDC] I have been looking into the usual V-mount batteries setup until my friend showed me this... 100% worth it for run and gun setups, though it is on the expensive side, so far I believe it's worth the money especially when you factor a big fat battery and other items like cage etc. It adds up to be about the same or even more. At the end of the day, all you need is this battery and your camera will run for hours. Cons: There's not much to talk about other than I guess the mount is made out of plastic which is sketchy but it seems like a tough plastic. It's been supporting my setup no problem so we'll see in the long run! 5

[5 V, 2 A] Loved it so much I purchased a second one! This is compliant to travel in your hand luggage on flights, can be charged quickly and easily with the inexpensive p-tap charger, and the display on the side of the battery is incredible (showing percentage charged when inactive and showing time remaining with current power consumption when in use). The additional USB port is perfect for charging a phone or running other electronics simultaneously. 5

[1.4 lb] This is a key part of my compact rig with the Sony Fx3. I can run the camera for 8 hrs straight. The base attachment gives my rig nice weight for handheld shots. The LCD display is very useful to track the battery life. Takes an hour or so to charge with the included charger. The USB and multiple p-tap outputs allow me to connect my Atomos monitor as well if I feel like eliminating one more battery from my rig (the Atomos battery). AB makes incredible batteries and I just bought a second one for my audio recorder. 5

[14.4 VDC] As camera tech has progressively shifted to smaller and more compact form factors, many of us have been waiting a long time for more battery manufacturers (particularly AB) to get on board with micro-sized batteries. These Titan Micros are a perfect pairing with cameras like the Komodo and many others. Even the 150w isn't too big for those sized cameras. On top of that, these make traveling a lot more manageable as well. 5

[8 A (Peak)] After decades of having only AB batteries with no problems for years and years, I got tempted with the fancy options from PAG and Core SWX, but after having issues with these other brands, I'm back to AB and hoping they still offer the same quality and longevity that they were known for. 5

[1.4 lb] I had to return the first one because the plastic around the D-Tap port was misaligned. B&H's return/exchange is great though and I got a replacement very easily and quickly. I haven't had it for very long so I can't say about longevity yet but I'll update this if it turns out to be a dud. 5

[68 Wh] I use this for shooting video with my DSLR's, which is typically a huge battery drain. Combine that with the fact that Nikon batteries can take many hours to charge and you have a stressful component to all video shoots. This component solves that. Seats nicely between tripod and camera, has an easy to read display that shows how many hours of battery are left, and (best of all) this batter charges fast. What a great purchase. 5
