Water and scratch resistant, this 60" x 100' roll of Kodak Universal Backlit Film 60"x100' Rollfrom Kodak Universal Backlit Film 60"x100' Rollis optimized for use in backlit displays in high-traffic areas, such as a mall or airport. It is made from a durable polyester material with a durable macroporous coating that resists flaking when cut and is compatible with both dye- and pigment-based inks. It is also heavyweight at 275 gsm and measures 8 mil thick. Additionally, the matte material features an opacity of 70%, a whiteness of 157%, and a gloss level of 5%. It comes on a 2" core.

Q: 1. I use an HP Desighjet T3500ps plotter. Will this media work with that system?

A: Yes it is compatible with your HP T3500PS.

Q: 2. Is this material compatible for printing on an HP Latex 335?

A: This can be used with a Latex 335.

Q: 3. How is this normally applied to the glass surface once the print is made? Is it common to be sandwiched between two surfaces or just applied to the outside of the surface? I assume this works well with my Epson 7900 printer.

A: Normally it would be Plexiglass but regualr glass can be used instead. It is compatible with the Epson 7900 printer.For a rigid, durable backlit display, laminate this media and mount it to Plexiglass with an optically clear mounting adhesive. A low-glare front laminate is desirable to reduce reflections in brightly lit areas.In view boxes that have PLEXIGLASS in them already, mounting is not necessary, and a thicker (10-mil) surface laminate may offer enough rigidity for the print to lay flat. For extra rigidity or for larger displays, laminate the back of the print with a laminate equally thick as the front material.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Canon ImagePROGRAF 4100?

A: Yes. The Kodak Water-Resistant Removable Vinyl Inkjet Paper (36" x 60' Roll) is compatible with the Canon Pro4100 printer.

Q: 5. Does this paper have a texture to it?

A: Yes, the Photo Tex Aqueous Inkjet Fabric has a matte finish to its surface.

Q: 6. Which Chemical Development Process is this film stock designed to use? (ie ECN-2, C-41, etc?)

A: You have several options to choose from for Kodak VISION 35mm Color Print 2383 Film: it is safe for processing in Standard C-41 Lab Processors or ECP-2D processing. The film can also be processed in standard black and white developers and fixers.

Q: 7. My printer maxes out at 11.8 mil. Can I use this with my printer?

A: As this paper is 13 mil thick, I would not suggest this for your printer as you rprinter maxes out at 11.8mil.

Q: 8. Would this work on an HP Designjet?

A: Yes it is compatible with the HP DesignJet-series printers.

Q: 9. Is this item glossy or matte?

A: matte

Q: 10. Is it front print or back print?

A: The Kodak Universal Backlit Film (24" x 100' Roll) BH #KOUBF24100 only has one side coated which is printable. The back side is not.

[157%] Used this in my Epson 7900 and it works and prints great. It’s a very heavy and strong material. The only bad thing I could find is that it is not “white” it is a greyish white when you put it next to something that is “white”. However it is a great banner material and I plan to keep using it. 5

[Polyester] We were looking for a 44 glossy photo paper for our Cannon printer and are so pleased with this stock for large architectural prints. We even used the standard profiles for our glossy paper on our printer and are so pleased with the color gamut. 5

[275 gsm] I purchased this material to print large scale images on for an upcoming show. The texture of the printable size is matte enough and light passes through the film extremely well. If you're interested in having light pass through your prints, this is a really great material to purchase. I was unable to locate an ICC profile for it, but I'm making my own. 5

[1x Film Roll] We print constantly and customers want a good heavyweight media which lasts and produces colors well. This is definitely the best outdoor scrim media I've found to date. I do really like a couple of competitors but for this price you can't beat the quality. I'm hoping B&H will keep this in stock so I can order on repeat. 5

[60 x 5.3 x 5.3"] I, mostly, print with an Epson Stylus Pro 79000 and find ALL Kodak roll papers to be excellent in all respects - including value-for-money. I wholeheartedly recommend all Kodak inkjet papers for use with the SP 7900. 5
