The cocoa Shure DH5 Omnidirectional Headset Mic Cocoa TA4Fis an omnidirectional miniature headset microphone equipped with a TA4F connector for compatible Shure wireless bodypack transmitters. Built for the rigors of professional use, this durable mic offers a neutral, full-range sound ideal for capturing speech, dialog, and singing in broadcast, presentation, and theater applications.

The DH5 DuraPlex features a 5mm miniature capsule on a silicone boom pivot system that can be discreetly placed on either the left or right ear. The mic offers high gain before feedback, making it well suited for speech and dialog at events with loud sound reinforcement. To compensate for any potential loss of high end when positioning the mic, a presence cap is included that boosts the 10 kHz range about 3 to 4 dB for added clarity and intelligibility.

Designed to stand up to adverse conditions, the mic is equipped with a long-lasting, fully paintable, 1.6mm Shure Plex cable. The dual-redundant ground in the cable serves as secondary shield, giving it unprecedented durability and immunity to memory effect and kinks.

A: No, the Shure SM31FH Fitness Headset Condenser Microphone is only available with a TA4F (4-pin mini-XLR female) connector. However, you can use the Shure RK100PK Radio Frequency Interference Resistant Preamplifier (B&H # SHRK100PK) which will allow you to connect to a standard 3-pin XLR input and use phantom power.

[Plug-In Power] I bought the H6 to replace the Sony heaset mic that I use with my Sony UTX-B03 body pack, as the cable was wearing out at the plug. The Countryman H6 is great! It's lightweight, easy to fit, and comfortable to wear for several hours. It also cuts the background noise a lot better than other headsets I have used, and the sound quality is much better than the Sony. 5

[Plug-In Power] We have used many different brands of headsets and none of them compare with the quality of the Countryman. The sound quality is excellent and the design of the headset allows for an easy fit for almost everyone. It's also very durable compared to the others we have used. The premium price is a bit painful at first but in the long run, well worth it! 5

[Plug-In Power] Are these expensive? Yes! Are you looking for a high quality mic? Are you tired of taping, bending, adjusting, and repeating? Do you need a mic that you can put on, forget about, and just focus on your presentation? This IS the mic for me. If you can part with the $, it's the mic for you too. I've only had this for 3 weeks, so this review is not based on long term use. 5
