The Zacuto Cage Kit with Kameleon PRO EVF for RED KOMODOfrom Zacuto Cage Kit with Kameleon PRO EVF for RED KOMODOcradles your KOMODO camera while providing a variety of accessory mounting options. This dedicated, modular cage includes a top plate with a NATO-compatible Z-Rail and a bottom plate with an Arca-Swiss style wedge plate. It provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist mounts, a 1/4"-20 thread for a lens adapter support, and two ARRI-style rosettes for attaching handgrips or other components. Use the complete cage for four-sided protection or attach pieces individually as needed for your camera configuration.

This made-in-the-USA aluminum cage includes a top plate, a bottom plate, two side rails, and mounting screws. Access to controls and ports is maintained when the cage is mounted on your camera.

[RED KOMODO] This is perfect if you don't want to add a full cage to your Komodo. WIth the combination of 1/4, 3/8, and a few Arri pin locking mounts, there's plenty of options for mounting monitors, handle, mic, etc. 5

[Cage] I bought this because I wasn't getting power to the EVF from a v-mount battery, so I wasn't sure if it was the 4 pin LEMO cable or a battery issue. When I attached this unit the EVF fired right up. I really like it. It has an off/on switch which can help conserve your battery power. I've used it a couple hours, but not continuously so I'm not sure how much time you'd actually get if you kept it on. I think it's a great option if you're not running a v-mount battery or just want a backup. I'm glad I got it. 5

[Aluminum] The 8Sinn cage is better than the smallrig cage because it is slimmer and allows you to use the cage with Manfrotto fluid heads. 5

[0.7 lb] Great cage for the Komodo. I needed a cage that would work easily with the expansion module attached. The bottom of this cage is it’s own separate piece and easy to remove. It works well with the expansion module. Plenty of 1/4 20’s all around to mount accessories to. Two thumbs up... 5

[Aluminum] I tried to find cables for my Zacuto Kameleon, but finally bought this one and I don't regret it. It is very solid and it has a switch on the D-Tap to turn off the EVF. 5

[Cage] I had a few side walls before settling on the Zacuto Side Plates. They are low profile, do not get in the way of the RED Outrigger Handle, and provide you with the most rigging options from the side wall, more than any other manufacturer from my telling. It provides NATO, Arri 3/8 locking pin, and Arri Rosette, and those are probably the three most secure mounting points, above regualr 1/4 screw holes. The paint comes off, are use of the Rosette mounts, but I could care less. 5

[RED KOMODO] Lots of Komodo cages out there but this one is for me: durable, simple, not overly designed, and configurable. Keeps camera light and swift. 5
