The Sunwayfoto Lightweight Manfrotto Arca Clamp Adapter Setfrom Sunwayfoto Lightweight Manfrotto Arca Clamp Adapter Setis a CNC machined aluminum clamp that is compatible with both Arca-type plates and Manfrotto 200PL plates, available separately. A built-in bull's-eye bubble level helps to level the camera to the horizon, and a locking knob opens and closes the clamp to adjust or remove the quick release plate. It has a 3/8"-16 threaded hole to mount the clamp onto a tripod or ball head and includes with a 1/4"-20 bushing adapter.

This set includes MAP-01 and MAP-02 adapter bushings for mounting the receiver clamp to an Arca-type, Manfrotto, or other ball head.

A: I'm not familiar with your Wimberly plate, but if it is Arca then it will fit in this clamp. Like Gerald F., I have found it to be a very solid and secure clamp. I use mine with a Canon 5DMk3 & Canon 100-400mm zoom on a tripod.

Q: 3. will MeFOTO PMU50 Quick-Release Plate work on this?

A: This should work well, as it has an adjustable tightening knob.I use this with many Arca type mounts, including a Really Right Stuff bracket and it has performed fine.

A: The Sunwayfoto Arca & Manfrotto Compatible Clamp can be attached to the Manfrotto XPRO Magnesium Ball Head's QR plate with the 1/4"-20 Bushing Adapter included with the clamp.

A: It is compatible with Arca type plates and 200PL plates. It is not compatible with a 410PL.

[Yes] The clamp comes with everything you need, wrench, standard screw, and level. The first time I held this clamp I knew that there would be more than a casual mechanical connection between us. It feels more like a friend than a small machine. Turning the clamp dial is joyful, not too firm and not too lose. Perfection! I am confident that my equipment is secure. A job well done! 5

[0.285 lb] I have been treading between Manfrotto and Arca quick-release tripod clamps and plates. This Sunway accepts both plates. It has a large base for use with L-brackets (3 Legged Thing Ellie and Roxie). The knob is a good size and feels very secure. I got it in the mail and an hour later I ordered two more. 5

[Screw Knob] I mounted this on my Manfrotto Compact Travel 61" tripod. Setup was quick. The item came in a well protected packaging. This little item saved me from having to purchase an ARCA type tripod (at least until this one is kaput). Now I can transition from my Peak Design clip on shoulder strap to the tripod without removing the ARCA mount. 5

[Yes] I bought this because I needed clamps with flat bottoms for my teleprompter, slider and some other pieces of gear. This does indeed have flat bottom with no screws or other parts protruding, and after testing one I have bought two more. 5

[Arca-Type] I've used Manfrotto CR-2 quick attach plates for years. I have one camera with an L-bracket that has Arca attachment slots. This clamp replaced the Manfrotto clamp on one tripod. The Sunwayfoto Clamp allows me to use either style plate. 5

[Arca-Type] Sturdy, well made clamp. I like the longer length compared to some clamps and the knob turns smoothly. Just note that the knob is right against the edge, so it could bump up against a wider base or other knobs, depending on what you attach it to. It works well for my needs. 5
