[Aluminum, Steel] Just got this in the mail today. It's a solid handle. I read reviews about too much play in the adjustable joint, so I was wary of that, however there is a flat head screw behind the knuckle of the adjustable push button - if you crank that screw tightly, it will eliminate the slight rattle in the joint at the cost of the drag friction on its rotations increasing. To me, this is worth it to eliminate any rattle. It's a very unique top handle, perhaps more of style over practicality compared to Zacuto/Wooden/Bright Tangerine top handles, but it's something nice to add to the kit at a fraction of the price of those handles. I bought it because I didn't want to obstruct the screws on my RED Outrigger Handle since I bounce back and forth between sticks, easyrig, and gimbal usage often. The idea of throwing a nato rail on top of the Outrigger Handle just to mount a nato/Arri pin top handle, then needing to remove the handle, said nato rail, and the Outrigger Handle in order to fly it on a gimbal seemed like two needless extra steps. If you have the Outrigger Handle, this is a very underrated option because you can remove your Outrigger Handle in one step so you can be gimbal-ready much, much quicker. Decent enough way to tweak the center balance of your rig by sliding the handle and loosening/tightening the two screws on the side. Two cold shoe mounts, three Arri pin 3/8 mounts, and two 1/4 mounts. Pretty solid option especially now that they've come down below $100 in price. Unique use case scenarios, but I think it should be a top option for those who also have the Outrigger Handle from the Komodo Production Pack for swifter build-ups/breakdowns when bouncing between a variety of setups.

[Yes, 90°] Got this top handle instead of the standard one for the Tilta S5 cage. Look nice in black. Rotates and locks in a few different positions. Very adjustable and adaptable to your needs. Can push it forward or backwards by loosening the screws in the side if you want it more front heavy or back heavy. Locking cold shoe mounts on front and back of handle as well as a non locking one on the center. The various positions are good. You can rotate it to make it an instant top handle for vertical shooting or side handle for landscape style shooting.


Only con is that the rod mount in the center is unusable. Can't fit any of my 15mm rods in there. So that part is completely useless unless I'm using it wrong. Won't take points off since I don't intend to use it that anyways.

When its tightened onto the Tilta cage,it still moves Like Its Loose

[Yes, 90°] Bought 2 of these to outfit a pair of FX6's with Tilta's other pieces. Worked great was able to hang a teradek transmitter on the front end using the add-on holder. Had to make sure they stayed tight first day or so, so checked those tightening knobs we went...especially since we were using Easyrigs...

[Aluminum, Steel] I love tilta products so much! They look great on the cam. Much better than my cheaper handle that would slide off. I know that it's secured with this handle. One less stressor for me to worry about.
