A: This is designed for Tiltaing camera cages only. It may not properly connect with Smallrig cages and is not recommended for them

A: The Tiltaing Right-Side Advanced Focus Handle Type V (F570, Black) uses universal industry standard ARRI Rosette mounts.

Q: 4. Is the run/stop compatible with the Sony a7siii?

A: I am afraid not: This side handle slides onto the base of the half and full Tiltaing Camera Cages for BMPCC 4K/6K, Panasonic GH Series, Nikon Z6/Z7, Sony a6, and Fuji XT3/XT4.

Q: 5. Is there a Micro DV to micro USB cable, to feed into the Nano motor with 12v from this Handle? I looked for it but haven't been able to find it.

A: The Tilta Side Focus Handle Type II (LP-E6, Tilta Gray) (B&H# TIASFH5E6G) does have a micro USB port, but that is used to connect it to a Tilta Nucleus-Nano Wireless Lens Control Motor (B&H# TIWLCT04M) or to a camera for run/stop control. It is not a video port and therefore would have no reason to have a Micro DV plug on it. We're sorry, there is no Micro DV cable that could be used with it.

Q: 6. How do I install this wrist strap? Is there a manual or video?

A: The Tilta Wrist Strap for Right-Side Advanced Focus Handle installs after you have loosened the strap, slip the strap through the top and bottom rings on the Focus Handle and then re-thread the strap.

Q: 7. Does this work with a Nikon Z9?

A: The Tilta Right-Side Advanced Focus Handle with Run/Stop for F570 Battery (Black, Type IV) (B&H# TIARFH457B) is not compatible with the Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera (B&H #NIZ9) using any currently available (March 2022) Tilta Advanced Side Handle Run/Stop cable.

Q: 8. what cable would I need to use this with an A7SIII?

A: You should use the Tilta Nucleus-Nano Run/Stop Cable for Sony a6, a7, and a9 Series Cameras (BH #TIRSWLCT4SYA) to relay run/stop commands from the Tilta Tiltaing Left-Side Advanced Power Handle Type V (F570, Black) to your Sony a7SIII.

Q: 9. Says it is for Nucleus-N, what about M? And what else do I require (like cables) for start/stop record?

A: This is not compatible with the Nucleus-M. They only list the small Nucleus Nano which has lesser power requirements.

Q: 10. How do you eject the battery? Do you just pull it out, or is there a button?

A: There is a small safety button that holds the battery in place and has to be pressed down to release the battery.

[0.05 lb] Although I haven't used it for long, I absolutely love this handle. The possibility of having the focus on the tip of your finger while holding the camera is incredible, and a game changer for handheld camera. Im pairing with the nano motor and so far it works good. I wish there was a way to revert the direction of the focus knob, in case I need to rig the motor on the right side of the camera. 5

[0.05 lb] The Tilta Tiltaing side focus handle type II is awesome and really assists the videographer to maintain focus whilst filming. Tilta have done a great job in designing this unique focusing aid, which is light and easily removeable from the camera using the many options available out there. 5

[5.2 x 2.85 x 1"] I used to get so stressed out when shooting on my Pocket 6K. We all know how horrendous the battery life is. Now with this and the tilta cage using a Sony NP-F970 I’m getting close to 4 hours of runtime. I’m able to focus on my shots not stressing about how much battery life I have left while fumbling through my pockets full of canon batteries. Well well worth the money. 5

[5.2 x 2.85 x 1"] Nice grip, good ergonomics, focus ring travel is just the right amount. Putting on the rosette mount is a bit of a pain and requires the included angled Allan key, so don't loose that one. 5
