A subset of the Synchron Percussion II collection, Vienna Symphonic Library Synchron Bells II Virtual Instrumentis a virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the sound of a set of plate bells and a set of temple bells. The instruments were recorded at Synchron Stage A Vienna with every nuanced detail using seven phase-controlled multimicrophone setups. The included Synchron Player allows you to mix the microphones to create stereo mixes, each with different levels of ambience and stereo panorama.

Synchron Bells II features a set of plate bells available in an unusually broad range of five octaves (C2-C7). They were recorded with up to four dynamic layers and four round-robins for single strokes, played with a bell hammer and a metal mallet—resulting in a very bright sound. There is also a bowed effect articulation.

The temple bells were recorded with up to four dynamic layers and four round-robins. They were hit with soft, hard, and triangle beaters, rubbed with clappers, and bowed.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be used to connect my mp3 player 3.5 mm headphone to my car stereo?

A: I have not actually tried what you are asking, however, I don't see any way that it could. This unit is a sound card designed to plug in to a USB port on a computer and convert a digital audio signal to an analog signal capable of feed headphones. The USB port on your car stereo is designed to read digital data stored on a thumb drive. MP3 files, wav files, etc. are binary code that can be read by the D/A converter in your car stereo. Your MP3 player's headphone jack simply outputs analog audio that can be listened to through a transducer like headphones or earbuds. B&H Photo does sell a piece of equipment that is designed to do what you're asking. It is B&H part # SCFMTD3R and sells for $22.99.

Q: 2. Is this system complete? Or do I need an additional amplifier or speaker to project voices into a large room?

A: The VocoPro Digital-32 does not come with a speaker.

Q: 3. Will this allow headphone and microphone connection to a Dell XPS?

A: Yes, the StarTech Virtual 7.1 USB Stereo Audio Adapter External Sound Card is compatible for bringing in analog audio from a microphone and outputting audio while connected to a Dell XPS Series machine.

Q: 4. Will the Sony HT-A7000 sound bar work well with the Sony A9G OLED tv? And would adding a sub woofer make sense?

A: The Sound Bar will work fine with the A9G as the TV supports eARC. A subwoofer will do fine if you are needing more lower end Bass Audio.

Q: 5. how to switch on /off switches as fingure tips can’t reach them

A: Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the switches. I suggest looking into a rubber thimble used for turning pages, as those can help increase friction and move the switches to the desired positions.

Q: 6. Hi For acoustic guitar recording, what would be the difference between two AE-5100 and a pair of AT-4041SP?

A: The AE-5100 is a large diaphragm instrument mic. It has a wider dynamic range, able to handle higher Sound Pressure levels and better signal to noise ratio than the small diaphragm 4041. In terms of recording acoustic guitar, the AE-5100 does have a richer tone, and offer a better recording of dynamic performances.

Q: 7. Can you pair (via bluetooth) more than one Sony SA-SW5 7.1" 300W Wireless Subwoofer?

A: Only one subwoofer can be paired with the Sony HT-A7000 500W Virtual 7.1.2-Channel Soundbar BH #SOHTA7000 at a time.

Q: 8. is receiver diversity?

A: No it is not.

Q: 9. will this work transforming a line level coming from a mixing board to a Magewell USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus?

A: No, the Hosa MIT-129 will not convert a line level signal to mic level and the connectors on this adapter are the wrong type. The XLR output on a mixer is male so you would need a female XLR connector on your cable or adapter and the mic input on the Magewell USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus is 3.5mm TRS, not 1/4". Since mixers typically have separate left and right output, you can use a line to mic attenuator cable like the Sescom SES-43DB-MZ2XJ 43 dB Pad DSLR Attenuating Line to Mic Level Cable - 18" (B&H # SES43DBMZ2XJ) which has left and right XLR female connectors to use for the output from the mixer and a 3.5mm TRS male connector for the mic input on the Magewell adapter. Additionally, the Sescom cable is designed specifically to convert line level signal to mic level.

Q: 10. Will it work when connected to USB even if battery power is exhausted ?

A: Yes, connecting to USB will power the EWI Solo and charge its battery as well

[Percussion] Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful.

[Standard] I'm just getting to know the program, and haven't had enough time with it, but the sound samples are fantastic - just what I was looking for.

[15,652] It's not a big sample library but the bell tones are excellent! I could not find a comparable library for this type of bell sound from the other big name sample library companies, so this fills a niche missed by others.

[15,652] The Synchron interface is SO much easier to use (than the former Vienna Symphonic Instruments plugin). Sound quality and playability are impeccable.

[15,652] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!

[Download] Best piano library I've experienced. Vibrant sound, customization and dynamics are all there. If you are into CFX or trying to add it to your arsenal, do not hesitate.

[Standard] LOTS of articulations that play well with each other. The Synchron Player is also much easier to use than either Kontakt based sample libraries or Vienna's earlier Vienna Instruments based libraries.

[Standard] a great closely MICed string ensemble. great for small orchestra work. Definetly a learning curve to figure things out, but rewards when you do.
