Use this Ultralight Ball Adapter for Ikelite Strobesto mount select Ikelite strobes on your underwater camera rig's light arms. The ball is compatible with Ikelite SubStrobe MV, MS, and 50 strobes, as well as DS-51, DS-125, DS-160, and DS-161 strobes.

Q: 1. Hi... is this charger from Ikelite or a 3rd Party ?? Does it also have a small LED informing you the status of the charging battery ??

A: The Ikelite Smart Charger for NiMH Battery Packs for DS160, DS161, and DS125 Strobes (USA/North America) has one LED light. When plugged in the wall and no battery attached the light goes green. When attached to a battery that needs a charge the light goes red. When the battery is finished charging the light turns green.

Q: 2. Will this snoot fit the quadra ranger heads?

A: Not a bad snoot. I use it with the elc kit though it is prone to light leak. So gaphers tape may be needed. If I was to do it all over I would've bought the elinchrome brand. Yes it will fit the ranger

Q: 3. Does this come with the thumb screw for attaching the go-pro housing? And if so, is it stainless steel or other rust-resistant material for diving in salt water?

A: Hi,I am sorry but it was a long time ago when I bough one of these so I could not be sure but I think it doesn't , but this thumb screw come with the GoPro camera anyway , I have using this for at least two years and no rust

A: Well actually I don't know . We bought this as a gift for our son for Christmas .

Q: 5. 1. Is it possible to buy only the translucent plexiglass diffuser? Mine got an accidental bend.2. Is there an original metal adapter for Elinchrom heads? I'd like to use it also on my ELC 1000.

A: The outer diffusion can be ordered as part number B-32.459.00 (note that the item picture is incorrect at the time).

Q: 6. Will 66mm hobos and patterns fit? If not, which ones will?

A: Being that this snoot do not have lenses built into it, it would not be able to accept nor project 66mm M size gobos. However, we do offer the Elinchrom Minispot Projection Attachment for Elinchrom Flash Heads B&H # ELMS which accepts its own 53mm gobos which are included. Please see the image below for reference.

A: Yes, it is compatible with the X4.

Q: 8. Will the Stix floats fit on the arm? I am looking to use this arm for mounting a GoPro on top of my camera and add some floats for additional buoyancy.

A: Yes, StiX Adjustable Buoyancy Floats for Ultralight, Nauticam & Ikelite Strobe Arms will fit on the Ultralight Double-Ball Flat Crossbar with 1/4"-20 Mounting Holes (10").

[0.085 lb] I love the quick release with these ball mounts. I haven't put strobes or lights on them yet, but I know when I do and then don't want them on I can just pop the release and they are quickly off. Great design 5

[0.085 lb] I purchased this charger to replace an old one that was about 12 years old. The new one is about 1/2 the size of the original, which frees up a little space in my case for travelling. I use two strobes, and ended up ordering a second one for this reason. The indicator light system has gone from a three different flashing rate on the original to a simple red/green on the new ones which I like as well! As always, B+H's service was first rate, including an excellent option for shipping to Canada. 5

[0.085 lb] Got this to mount my follow focus off of my 1303 at a comfortable distance and it works great for it. The arms hold tighter than most other brands so it supports the weight of it very well. Combined with the 3/16 with locator pins on one side and the cinelock on the other and two of the clamps with cutouts makes it very adjustable, versatile, and stabile. Would recommend to any camera assistant. 5
