A: I'm not sure if I have the same piece but I got an email from B&H asking me to answer this question. Mine is 9cm (nearly 3-3/4 ), but is aluminum and not zinc-plated steel. The photo looks exactly like mine.

A: The set screw is not designed to be removed. It is fixed into place with red locktite and would require a torch to loosen and remove.

A: The Slim Plate Arca-Type Ball Head in the Ulanzi MT-47 Metal Vlog Tripod with can't be removed so the Falcam F38 Multi-Thread Quick Release Base can't replace it.

[Female 3/8"-16] The rubber adaptor is the best thing about this adaptor. It doesn't happen often, but I have had metal stick to metal making it hard to unscrew. The rubber washer takes care of this issue. This all metal adaptor is a great tool for my studio and on the rare occasions I'm doing a gig with musicians. Because they're easy to lose, I'd consider getting more than one. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5

[0.085 lb] ULS once again proves why the original is always better than the knock off. Solid as a rock, and when its locked its LOCKED! I'm pretty sure I could've picked up my entire 13 monitor by the arm only. 5

[Female 3/8"-16] I bought seven of these over the course of spring 2022. Five of them came exactly as pictured, while two were machined to a slightly narrower diameter at the base (the diameter of the ring with the knurled grip on it). Also, the narrower units had little to no bevel where the 3/8 female threads meet the flat bottom face of the item. In comparison, the 5x units matching the picture have a significant bevel, as you can see for yourself in the photo. Finally, all my units came with a plastic cap that threads onto the 1/4 tip. I'm providing this info in case it helps someone in the future, as these variations could mean the difference between a good fit and a bad fit in certain applications. Altogether, I'm completely satisfied with the 7x units I purchased. 5
