Made from 3mm-thick shock-absorbing closed-cell neoprene, the LensCoat TravelCoat, in RealTree's AP Snow camouflage pattern, blends into your surroundings when you're outdoors in the winter. It fits onto a Canon RF 100-500mm lens, protecting it from bumps and scratches to preserve its finish and condition. The insulated design provides a thermal barrier between your hands and the lens surface when working in cold temperatures, and it is water resistant so your lens is protected when you are working in rainy weather. The TravelCoat fits over your lens and stays attached with touch-fasteners, so you can get it off and start shooting quickly and easily. A: I bought these to go onto a RRS TVQ-14 tripod, but they were too long, so I've reordered shorter ones. I don't know about the Gitzo.

A: No I don't believe it will, I purchased this case for the Tamron 70-200, which it does fit but is pretty tight. The case measures 11 inches tall, but when you pull the draw string to close the case the useful part of the case is between 8.5 to 9 inches.I have a Tamron 150-600 on back order and will be ordering the LowePro Lens Case 13x32cm for it

Q: 10. How well does this fit the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary? Would the Raincoat 2 Standard be a better fit (although I fear it might be slightly too small)?

A: I use this cover for my Nikon 200-400mm with 1.4 extender. Works great.

[Camouflage] I purchased this product specifically for when I want to carry my camera with my 70-200 2.8 lens attached and I am limited to the size of a case. This works perfectly. Works with my camera strap and protects the bangs and bumps so I am more comfortable with it than without it. 5

[Camouflage] Swallowed a Nikon D810 + battery grip + Nikon 70-200mm f4 lens in one easy gulp. Nice jostle protection. Will be great with other such covers in an unpadded case. I wouldn't expect much for a drop to concrete though. 5

[0.235 lb] This lens coat cover fits perfectly on the RF 100-300 allowing me to feel confident when I have to set the lens down. It's the only option to keep it from getting scratched. 5

[0.235 lb] I use a Nikon D750 (medium body) with a Nikkor 70-200/2.8 zoom for on-the-water sailboat racing photography. I sometimes want protection when on the move and not shooting, in a boat, without hard cases, etc. This is the only cover that I found that will fit this set up. It will also work when I add a teleconverter. Should also work with my mirrorless Nikon body, FTZ adaptor, and this lens. That satisfies my use case perfectly. 5

[0.235 lb] This is for my 500mmf/4 Canon Lens, and it fits perfectly. Even with my lens hood on it. I like that I can protect my lens better, especially when traveling, it's light weight,, and easy to put on and off. 5
