[0.68 lb] I have several items that have QD strap ports, but none of my straps utilize the QD System. My straps tend to be the ones with the little red dots. These come in quite handy, and now I have the best of both worlds. Easy to attach/unattach to my camera brackets and easy to attach my existing straps to this unit. Highly recommended for its intended purpose. 5

[Khaki Tan/Beige] If you have any of RRS's brackets, like the L-bracket, it is sturdy way to attach a strap. Unlike a screw in swivel, this pops in and out securely. I bought the original despite the price because the bad reviews of cheaper imitations on Amazon. 5

[0.68 lb] This QD connector is a dense, solid little nugget that immediately exudes quality. The center button seems to be a complaint, although the one I received (May, 2023) is a different design that the one pictured as of this review. It is recessed, but I see that as a good thing to prevent accidental engagement. I have full confidence in its security and find it very quick to engage/disengage. 5
