[0.23 oz / 6.6 g] I've had a GPU ground loop problem for years and this solved it

[0.09 lb] I was so worried that this wouldn't solve my issue. Every time I opened any intensive game or other task that required a ton of processing power from my RTX 3080 Ti, I would hear a very annoying hum with some screeching in between. Plugged it in, ran all the games where I was having issues in and all that noise is gone. I really think it was worth the money. But to anyone buying this, you have to be sure your issue is a ground loop in your PC. The way I tested it was running one of my intensive games and just disconnecting the USB cable from my Focusrite 2i2 which made the noise go away.

[0.23 oz / 6.6 g] I had a lot of background noise on my microphone and mechanical noises that would play through my speakers. After buying this (and using a type C phone charger to re-power it), all of my problems went away. I have clear microphone quality as well as speaker quality. The background humming and unusual noises have come to an end.

[0.09 lb] I recently upgraded from PreSonus Eris E3.5 speakers to some KRK Classic 5's to use with my Audient EVO 4 interface and noticed some annoying static after the upgrade. I'm using EWI balanced TRS cables from Audiopile, which have always been high-quality and reliable for me, so that wasn't the issue. After some Googling, this is apparently a common issue with USB interfaces. Long story short, finally pulled the trigger on the iDefender+ and am glad I did. Even though having to buy yet another piece to the setup is a bummer, it did exactly what it claims. Since my USB ports are a bit cramped, I got a braided right-angle USB-C cable from Amazon and the fitment is great. That paired with an iPhone power adapter works perfectly. If you have static/noise with a USB interface, this is exactly what you need.

[0.09 lb] My monitors are hooked up to my laptop via a docking station and a Firefly DAC. A while back they started buzzing pretty bad - couldn't figure out what changed. I tried everything, then just stopped using the monitors and didn't know what to do. Did some research and found this device, and it did the trick and solved the buzzing!

[0.09 lb] I am using a RODE Podcaster running through my Fender Passport and I have my desktop plugged in. I had a constant low buzz in my speakers, and it was worse when I used my mouse. I tried everything from grounding to balanced cables and nothing worked. I finally resorted to YouTube for help, and someone suggested the iDefender. I ordered it last week and it showed up this morning. When I first plugged it in, the low buzz went away, but now I had a high-pitched whine....that was not good and even actually worse than the buzz. I then decided to just plug it into a power supply with a USBC and low and behold, all the noise went away! I am a happy man. Thanks for a great product!

[0.09 lb] I am running a USB C powered interface that was suffering from severe interference from my systems power delivery, especially related to my GPU.

Adding this to my line out to the interface has completely eliminated this interference and has allowed me to use USB audio sources while the GPU is under load.
