[Black] Very happy with my purchase. My camera fits well, plus accesories (my wireless Lavalier system, shotgun mic, a small LED light, etc.). Highly recommended for this camera.

[Zipper] As you can see from the title, I am very happy with this Auray speaker stand. I uploaded a picture of it working with a speaker, which of course it is made for, and have zero complaints.  Opens and slides up and down easily, all good.  Feels well made.  I love that it can accept 1.375 mount, as well as a 1.5 with the supplied adapter. This will make it very versatile for speakers and is useful. It is very sturdy and lightweight and works well for a speaker stand.

But because it is so strong and lightweight, I'm also happy about using it with my small jib. I've been looking for a light, strong stand to use for my jib and most stands I think would be strong enough to support the jib were either too heavy or expensive. So this Auray stand is perfect. I have an adapter to convert the stand to mount the jib, and I'm happy to report it worked like a charm.

I mounted the jib, camera and counterbalance weight on the stand, and it can easily handle the weight. It does not seem wobbly or bend at all. It feels sturdy and secure. This is going to be perfect when traveling with the jib. I might throw a sandbag on it just to be extra careful (and for clients to see), but I doubt it is even needed.

Another nice addition to add to my confidence is the locking pin you can insert on the center column to make it even more secure and put my mind at ease. This is a nice addition and I love having it for piece of mind. And with all this functionality, it is still very lightweight for such a sturdy stand.
Again, this stand fulfills a bunch of needs. And all for a very affordable price. I can use it as a speaker stand as it is intended, or to hold the jib. Or for that matter, anything else that fits the adapter I have. In my opinion this is a great stand for a great price [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[Black] The Auray lightweight speaker stands are great for events or parties.


The first thing you notice is that the stands come in a nice travel bag to keep them together, it's a little thing but nice to have. The bag seems like it'll hold up to a decent amount of tossing around.


The stands themselves are built well. They are made from aluminum and are lightweight but still feel sturdy. They can hold over 100lbs which makes them compatible with a variety of different speakers. There is also an adapter to give more flexibility.


They can be short 3.8 or fully extended to 7.5' and have a locking pin for extra security. The rubber feet also prevent them from sliding around.


There's not too much to say other than they do what they are intended to do and do it well.

[Yes] Was looking for a sturdy, but light weight tripod case that I could check as baggage (that wouldn't fall apart, would protect my tripods) and that I could transport easily on top of my suitcase, this is it! In all my research, this is the only option I found that fit my needs.
And although the interior has reinforcing bars to keep it rigid and a rigid foam-padded bottom for protection, I also insert extra cushioning in the multiple interior pockets to ensure everything is well protected. So happy I found this case!

[2.355 lb] I'm using this for an unconventional use case. I'm using it to mount an antenna that is designed to mount on a mast with a similar diameter to the diameter of this speaker stand. I know that this is not what the speaker stand was designed for but it works really well.

Ina addition to the protection there are pockets for ALL you accessories...there are hundreds. capacity would be an issue if you need to carry around more than three lenses, however this fits my 11-16, 35mm and telephoto perfectly

[Handle] This fits my Sony FX30 camera set-up with all attachments, lens, boom mic, and XLR handle in place so I don't have to reset-up my gear with every use. Additional room and pockets for everything else. As usual for PortaBrace, it's well-made and designed and will last for years. Highly recommend for Sony FX3 and FX30 owners.
