A: The SCF-E3 will fit on the Yongnuo yn600ex-rt. But the Canon 600ex has sensors which can detect which of their gels are being used. The Yongnuo does not have those sensors.

A: No, it is not compatible with the older 600ex RT flash. It is only compatible with the Canon 600EX II-RT.

[Color Filter] I got this lens as a replacement for my kit lens that came with my Canon 7D, and I only used it a small amount since 50mm on a APS-C is actually 80mm. Since buying it, I have also purchased a 24-105 f/4L which I use as my walk-around (which is mostly car photography), but my 24-105 started to malfunction so I solely used my nifty fifty on my recent trip to Seattle, and I was impressed. It is a fantastic improvement and has better image quality at f/2 than several L series zoom lenses! I think this is a fantastic first prime lens, as it can be used for portrait or general photography. 5

[0.13 lb] Great portrait lens for the beginner, and the price makes it even better. Walks all over the kit lens that came with my camera. I'm just not too impressed with the manual focus feature, maybe it's the operator so I'll still give it a five star. 5
