[AC Input] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help.


That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service.

[AC Input] Bought one to test and found it easy to setup and reliable in operation. Have ordered 5 more for my system. I've had good luck with Magewell products and this one looks to continue that experience.

[0.95 lb] This device works great when used with the Muxlab Extender. I came right out of the extender into a 10 port gigabit POE switch, and ran 5 monitors up to 200ft from the switch to each decoder. You do need a decoder for each monitor. Since the switch was POE I did not have to use the provided power supply for any decoder

[0.95 lb] Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed.
It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone).
This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

[0.95 lb] The first time I used this I was on a foreign network so I didn't have the IP address to configure it. The device has on-screen controls though so it was an easy setup, just browsed to my NDI source and worked great.

I used this with vMix for a remote monitor of the program stream.

[0.95 lb] We replaced our old cable provider Nano box which was 480p with the VeeZee VZPro810 set-up was simple, transferring the settings from the nano to the VZ was straight forward.
Had to contact VeeZee once via Email and the customer service was spectacular, quick response time and a plethora of good information

[AC Input] Almost any camcorder produced before 2018 doesn't have NDI capabilities but with the addition of the Birddog Mini, you can make a leap into the world of networked video without any heavy lifting.

Excellent choice for any church or school that needs to stream video but doesn't want to incur the cost of wiring for video. Any HDMI source can be plugged into the Mini and using a local network, connected to a computer with a streaming application such as vMix or OBS. No capture card necessary - it just works.

This is a device that needs to be in the toolbox of any serious videographer.
