Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this hold a filter on each side of the pouch? Will it hold a 67mm filter? Thanks,

A: The filter pouch does hold a filter on each side. In addition, I have been using 77mm filters in it with no problem. 67 mm filters, should not be a problem. Good luck!

Q: 2. Does the lens coat cover keep out moisture, dust, sand, and heat? I photograph in the desert south west. The sun beating down on a black lens can get really hot! Any remedies?

A: No, the lens coat protects for the following Protection Against Scrapes/Light Bumps Helps Maintain Resale Value of Lens Provides Thermal Barrier

Q: 3. What are the dimensions of this product?

A: LensCoat does not list the dimensions of the LensCoat BodyBag GoPro (Black); however the cover is meant to fit snug over the GoPro Hero 5, which means the dimensions would only be slightly more than 2.44 x 1.77 x 1.3" (62 x 45 x 33mm).

Q: 4. How well does it protect against danage and rain?

A: this is a quote from the LensCoat website: LensCoat Lens Covers are manufactured from 100% closed-cell neoprene, offering waterproof protection while providing a thermal barrier protecting your hands from cold lenses in lower temperatures.

Q: 5. There seems to be a contradiction in the reviews. Does this cover the entire lens, including the glass?

A: Hello Lynn this is Russell know it covers the back and goes right up to the edge to the front glass where your Lens cap.Very great item I love this best thing I've invested in use it all the time right after I get done using my lens put it on put it right into my lens case.

Q: 6. With this lenscoat attached, will the lens still fit securely in the Nikon case?

A: The LensCoat is very tight to the lens and like a skin. It should be fine and not prevent it from fitting in the case.It has not been tested specifically but there is usually enough room to squeeze it in to a case.

Q: 7. Is it good for a Sigma 150-600 or is it too big?

A: Yes this would be compatible with the Sigma 150-600

Q: 8. Will the large fit the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 SP Di VC USD? Physical size of lens is 3.39 x 7.76 inches. Not sure if the 4x8 nature of this case allows for the cinching of the bag.

A: You would best be advised to buy the X-large instead. I have the large unit and I keep a Canon EF 75-300 mm telephoto lens in it. My lens is about 6.75 inches in length, and I have about 1.5 inch left at the top to pull the closure completely closed. Your Tamron lens would be a VERY tight fit; and possibly not have extra room for complete closure. It is possible that if you buy the X-Large unit; you may even have enough height to store the Tamron lens with a lens hood (if you use one) installed. The Canon lens I have stored in my Large bag does not have enough height to allow me to keep the lens hood on it while in the Large bag. I hope this helps you.

Q: 9. Will this fit Nikon z 24-120?

A: Yes, the LensCoat LensPouch (Small Wide, Black) can fit the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens (Nikon Z).

Q: 10. Is this collapsible?

A: Yes, this is a soft pouch.

[Camouflage] This is much better than the bubble wrap and shelving paper I was using to protect my lens while traveling. It's light-weight and form-fitting so it does not take up any extra room.

[0.25 lb] I usually have a lens coat on my super-tele lenses, however I went with this and the XX Large hoodie instead for my new 500mm f4E VR FL. I got tired of the way the lens cost fit on the lens, you either have to remove pieces or deal with it. Lenscoats, especially the new ones cover up too much of the lens, such as function buttons, the five main switches, the drop-in filter holder, the manual focus ring. So I slowly started removing pieces until I had barely any left. So I decided to buy this instead and I really like it, it’s thicker and offers more protection than the regular lens coat. It’s on the lens when the lens is in the bag, either my thinktank Airport Accelerator or long lens bag. It’s easy to remove and put on and it protects the lens from getting banged up or scratched, etc. Once I bring the lens out of the bag and out of this, I put it directly onto my monopod or tripod and I’m careful. So far so good, my lens looks like new almost a year later and I’m no longer messing with the lens coat being in my way. For me this is the best option. Maybe someday they will make lenscoats for actually using your lens, but for now I’ll just use this to protect the lens when it’s not on top of my tripod.

[Camouflage] Well padded and protects my Nikon SB-910 flash. Also has pouch to store 4 spare batteries. A second pouch to store flash stand would have been welcomed, nonetheless not disappointed with unit.

[0.25 lb] Use this case for Yongnuo YN-568EX II Speedlite flash unit and extra batteries. Flash unit came with generic case, no fasteners or extra battery storage. This case more convenient to use and carry; has extra pocket for batteries.

[0.25 lb] I decided to protect my new lens with a Lenscoat tree pattern cover. Well, if you have strong hands, installation would be easy. Hands with arthritis is another story. I did get it put on lens but it took some time. I left the last piece off as I often use the polarizing filter. All in all it serves a good purpose and looks pretty good out in the Everglades.
