[10 W ] Rock solid, perfect finish, smooth. Looks sexy on set. Does it's job wonderfully, BUT you're gonna pay big bucks for all that.

[CRI 90] It's not super sturdy, but for the money, this is a great buy for a lightweight and compact light modifier

[CRI 90] We have used the previous version of this aviom mixer and were satisfied with it. As they no longer made that model this is the replacement for that model. It is comparable in operation so that transition went smoothly.

[822 (at 3000K)] I bought four of these lights, and they and been fantastic so far.
Right away they surprised me with how light they are despite their size. This makes handling and mounting them much easier than heavier lights. The focusing ability is super handy and the colour temperature is spot on.
The only downside is that the controls and menu system on the back are not very intuitive and will certainly require you to reference the manual. However, this type of light is really meant to be controlled remotely via DMX, so I wouldn't worry much about those controls.
Overall, I would recommend these lights without hesitation.

[120°] If you wonder whether the Apollo or any other Inovativ model is right for you, keep in mind that the Apollo 40 is nearly 20 kilos heavier than the similar sized Inovativ carts. Carrying it up and down stairs by yourself with wheels and everything inside it, is not recommended.

I chose the Apollo 40 model solely for the corner cam lock system and the folding lip, not the extra weight capacity.

It seems ridiculously expensive, but if it behaves nicely for many years the price may be just right. The cart is really well constructed and looks great.

[120°] Easy to install. Worked as advertised. Very lightweight and low power consumption. Great lights with lots of features.

[10 W ] I just tested this out over a loooong three day travel shoot and I thought it performed admirably. I bounced my head off the back (which is silver) and really like the shape of the light coming out. The stem that locks in place is short so it made for a more functional shaped box that your average shoot through umbrella. I did not treat it too carefully and it seems sturdy enough. I did not need to use the included grid but I’m glad it came with it. I found it compacted better for travel if you take the diffusion panel out. Highly recommend for a one person light source.

Perfect for the occasional gig. Probably not sturdy enough for a year long rock and roll tour.

[Tungsten] I have been looking for an easy but good size softbox for traveling. I think this is it.

[3.765 lb] The Apollo 52 is so smooth and strong! It has absolutely changed how we are able to move in and out of different locations. With the huge wheels, outdoor locations are no longer a struggle when it comes to manuvering around.
