A: Yes you can limit bandwidth. As well it can detect if a device requires POE.

Q: 2. Can this function and be connected to an Android smartphone's USB-C port to access an ethernet cable's broadband internet connection?. The smartphone is Android OS and not WIndows 10 which I know would work on my desktop PC.

A: Some phones have the drivers needed. Some don't. If your phone happens to have the drivers. It would work. But you would need turn off your Wi-Fi or possibly need to put your phone in Airplane mode.

Q: 3. Hello. I was wondering if you can clarify why this switch is more costly than the Netgear M4300-52G stackable switch (BH#.NEGSM4352S) aside from this switch having 4 SFP+ 10G ports? Thanks.

A: The Netgear ProSAFE XS748T 48-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switch offers a fast processor as opposed to the M4300-52G which doesn't have a built in processor.

Q: 4. how many poe ports does it have?

A: All 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports are auto-sensing PoE+ IEEE 802.3at/af ports by default or can be configured for 24V Passive PoE. The maximum wattage per port when in 802.3at/af mode is 34.2W. The maximum wattage per port when configured for 24V Passive PoE is 17W. The combined power draw of all 48 ports in any configuration combination may not exceed 436W (the switch itself consumes 64W of the 500W provided by the power supply for operation).

Q: 5. Is this hub compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive?

A: According to apple's specs, the superdrive uses USB type A, the 'standard' type (before USB-C), and the HUB uses type A, so I assume it should be compatible.

A: This 48 x 48" Chimera Panel Fabric is a 16 oz, solid black commando cloth for the brand's Panel Frame System. The fabric quickly attaches to the separately available Chimera frame thanks to its durable elastic corners. The black color with matte finish is useful for controlling light by blocking or absorbing it. The material is matte toned, not reflective but also not duvetyne.

Q: 8. Is there a difference in the function of the NTW USB 2.0 A/A Snap-in Keystone Coupler Jack and a Comprehensive USB A Male To A Male Adapter? Just need to connect the male end of two USB cables. There exists a significant price difference.

A: The two items will serve the same purpose.

Q: 9. How tight are Chimera fabrics(48x48 ) on a Matthews break apart frame 48x48 ?

A: Not very tight... There are elastic strips on the 4 corners. It can bounce up and down 6-8 in high winds. I put a 5 lbs sand bag in the middle to help. These are great silks though... Get the 1/4 for use with an HMI. I use these instead of the Scrim Jim because of a better look and portability. Hope this helps?

[2 RU] I am a 30+ Telecommunications Technician by trade. At work I use high end Networking gear. At home I dont have the budgets they do at work. I want reliable, affordable and easily configurable devices for my home Network and family use. Last thing I want to do is come home and troubleshoot Network Issues. This is my second Trendnet product. It foot the bill for all my criteria for years and as my Network grew I stuck with Trendnet. There tech support is excellent as well. As far as CONS, I havent found any yet, except internal power transformer would be nice on all models, those bricks take up a lot of space on Power strips 5
