Especially took notice to the area where the cord meets the plug, which always wears out quick. It was flexible but not too much in comparison to other cords. With a rigid plastic cord made of a decent gauge, the cord isn't flimsy or subject to deterioration. The USB and lighting adapters are sheathed in plastic that forms nicely onto the cords - once again, limiting the opportunity for any deterioration.

This is honestly the best charging cable we've come across and is superb to anything put out by a phone manufacturer or big-box retailer.
