Building upon the success of the original TWELVE, the RANE DJ TWELVE MKII is an advanced 12" vinyl motorized control turntable and DJ control system designed to work with Serato DJ Pro software. This latest version updates the controller with advanced features such as DVS/USB MIDI control for Serato DJ Pro, Traktor, and Virtual DJ, as well as an OLED screen, which displays control selection and BPM display, Navigation Control for scrolling/loading, back and instant doubles, and a plunger-style start/stop button. TWELVE MKII provides an accurate, true-vinyl performance experience to digital music software, while liberating DJs and turntablists from the burden of damaged needles, tonearms, and the dreaded sub-bass feedback.

The TWELVE MKII’s high-torque, 12" motorized platter offers 3600 ticks of resolution per single vinyl revolution, bringing precision music file playback with digital performance accuracy. The controller can be customized even further with the DJ's own choice of slipmat / butter-rug. The familiar layout of the all-metal body ensures that any DJ who has used a turntable before will feel completely at home. The simple control elements are easy to use with four deck-select buttons and a multifunction touch strip for track searching and setting/triggering hot cues. The RANE TWELVE MKII ships with an aluminum platter, a slipmat, a control disk with quick-release adapter, four spacers, a power cord, and a USB cable.

This question applies to all pioneer dj equipment which use rekordbox together with an external hard-drive. Rekordbox does not see any music files stored on my SSD; however, it does show (recognize) the existence of the T7.

A: No, rekordbox is not compatible with exFAT at this time. According to Pioneer DJ, it is possible to format your drive to FAT32 natively within Mac or from the command line or using third party tools in Windows.

[20 x 20 x 8.7"] Every DJ needs a true vintage record platter feel. And your fans will LOVE to see the motion of a record player on your table. The RANE12 MKII is an amazing unit providing effortless control of your tracks in a true Vinyl fashion. Torque control is fantastic, platter reading has no lag, & finessing the platter with light touch reacts as it should. Note: 1) When you inititally set up, make sure you choose your RPM speed, or else it will default to 33 & your music will be slow & pitched down. 2) Unlike other controllers, you won't have anything more than a pad for hot cues/or for needle drop. However, what is missing on the 12 is on your mixer controller anyway so it is not a problem. DJ your 60s-80s set lists with this tool to be as authentic as you can be without a trunk full of record crates! Some have complained that the stock slip pad is not slick enough. Keep a light touch on the platter & it works just fine. 5

[29 lb] This is my first foray into digital DJing. Compact setup in a limited space environment, such a smaller footprint than my turntables and mixer. Spinning platters tactile response and usage take some adjustment but work in a manner similar to spinning vinyl. Very cool and happy with my purchase. 5

[ Included] It's dope. Next question. :) No but seriously it's a great 2 chan scratch/performance mixer. I used to be one of those that didn't want to spend the money on such mixers. I bought cheaper mixers for a while and recently realized that has held back my creativity. After watching so many YouTube reviews on mixers I took the plunge a few months back and bought a Serato Mixars mixer. I really liked all the options on the Mixars and it really expanded what I could do without touching my laptop. There were some limits though didn't quite give me all the functions I wanted on the Mixars. I finally decided to upgrade to the Rane Seventy and it's just awesome. You can just about control everything you need on the mixer or midi map custom actions with custom buttons. The paddles are a must have for activating your effects and the option to do multiple effects simultaneously is great. The silent cue feature is also a feature other mixers don't have and helps with your mixes. Overall, spend the money and take your DJing to the next level. You won't regret it. Pros: It's a Rane. Great sound quality Silent Cue feature Hardware and Software effects (Serato effects can be combined) Line faders are smooth and loose for greater creativity and usage Great Crossfader for scratch djs with adjustable tension Too many others to list... Cons: Can be pricey for many (Recommend to get the B&H card and get 0% interest and pay it off over 12 months.) 5

[AC Input] Once going to a Rane mixer, it’s hard to find another to match the quality. I’ve had the TTM56, TTM56S, TTM57MKII and now a proud owner of the Rane SEVENTY. This mixer surpassed my expectation. The faders are the smoothest without adjustment needed. The knobs are placed in easy to go to locations and the build quality feel better than its predecessors. The cue pads are precise to the touch and the flexibility to changing what they do are great tools to enhancing your mixing creativity. This mixer may look overwhelming, but in reality, its not. 5

[Single-Deck] The RANE 70 is a solid previous gen mixer. Though it lacks some of the bells & whistles like the OLED screen for your wave forms, this should not deter you at all from putting this on the short list as you will get all that from your software. Pads are extremely responsive. On board effects rival the software effects, but a simple button gives you access to both. Controllers are plug & play & construction is rugged & durable. Example: I run a RANE 12MKII on the right & a Denon LC6000 on the left, & set up couldn't be simpler. Note, the controls for the attack on the sliders are on the front face panel. Do not neglect these if you are a DJ who likes to fade out a track into another, or else the cut will not be natural. ......but if you are scratching, this is where you need to get the precision. 5
