The head is equipped with dual wide-field 10x eyepieces that, when combined with the objectives, produce magnifications from 40x to 1000x. To facilitate easier slide and specimen changes, the four-position nosepiece is set in a reverse position, so the unused objectives face away from the user.

Its dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser provides a fast and easy way to achieve tack-sharp views. A large stage has integrated rulers and a slide/specimen holder to make it easy to view a variety of specimen types. The lower LED light is directed through a 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm to give you extreme control of the light coming through to the stage.
