[0.805 lb] I woke up to our Synology DS1019+ blinking with a dead power supply. However, I could not find the official power supply anywhere to purchase. Luckily, this model matches the same specs required from the Synology unit referred to as Adapter 120W Level VI, which means weird connector paired with 12V @ 10A for 120W.


I can now confirm this power supply works perfectly as a replacement for the Synology 120W power supply. This unit is preferable to me as it has various safety certifications that the cheaper 3rd party options lack completely. Though it is a bit funny using a QNAP product to power a Synology.


I hope this info helps a fellow 1019+ owner out there who runs into the same problem that I did.

I didn't have a spare (who does?), so I had to frantically search online for one that didn't cost eleventy-bajillion dollars, and would arrive quickly. B&H always seems to have the goods, and this time was no exception. Overnighted all the way across the country, and on my doorstep the following morning.

[1] Well made with ample selectable voltage rates for all devices. Has a wide variety of tips and chart for compatibility choices. I like the included USB output for additional versatility. Better than the auto select voltage models since you are sure of the correct voltage being applied.

[0.805 lb] After my laptop's regular adapter died, I purchased this one. To my relief, it came with a large number of plugs designed to fit different computers, and it ended up suiting my Lenovo just fine. This adapter actually felt like quite a step up from the computer's original adapter: the cord is long and it plugs into wall outlets that only allow for two prongs. The major disadvantage, in my view, is its weight -- a little heavier than I expected -- but that's a minor challenge.
Best of all, though, is the customer service. The adapter stopped working twelve months and a few days after I purchased it... meaning that it was already past the product's one-year warranty. I almost didn't call the company. When I did call them, however, they treated me with extraordinary gentleness and generosity. They agreed to honor the warranty even though it had technically expired. So I mailed them back the old product, and within a few days, they had FedEx'd me a brand-new one. Now *that's* honorable service. Well done, Prudent Way.

[0.805 lb] It's brought my laptop back to life! I searched all over for something like this. B&H had it. Next time, I won't search all over.. I'll simply go to B&H. I know I'm in Vermont, but you're right next to Penn Station and I've got daily train service from Northern VT. Can't beat it.

[1] NAS no longer had power. The power brick had green light but looked like it was flickering. New power brick fixed issue thankfully. QNAP's price seems tad expensive (not B&H fault) but oh well.
