The waterproof Pelican 1745AirNF Hard Case Black Wheeled Empty No Insertis a crushproof hard case made from lightweight HPX2 polymer that will protect and store sensitive gear. The case secures with an updated push-button latching system that uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut on three sides. This edition of the 1745Air comes empty without an insert to give you complete access to the interior for customized storage solutions. A foam insert is available separately if you need it later. Carry your case using one or more of the three overmolded handles or if it's too heavy just tow it behind you on its two low-profile, quiet-running wheels.

Your case is made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to make it dust and waterproof, quad 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. For easy identification, there's a polycarbonate card holder on the front of the case.

Q: 1. will this hold an aputure 600d and two 300x's with ballasts and cables?

A: We highly suggest using a Pelican 1650 case, which will accommodate up to two full Apurture 600d kits. Please review the following Pelican case for your traveling needs: Pelican 1650 Case with Foam (Black) B&H # PE1650FB • MFR # 1650-020-110 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/75519-REG/Pelican_1650_020_110_1650_Case_with_Foam.html Also, consider the following: TrekPak Divider Kit for Pelican 1650 Large Protector Cases Made in 2009 or Later B&H # TRP1650CI • MFR # 016500-5050-110 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1082377-REG/trekpak_0300_10_1650_foam_insert_for_pelican.html

Q: 2. Can you check this for a flight?

A: The Pelican 1745AirNF Wheeled Hard Case, Empty without Insert (Black) exterior is 46.7 x 19.4 x 8.7" / 118.6 x 49.3 x 22.1 cm. Most will take that under the plane. but you need to check with specific airline as each one is different on under the plane size rules and charges.

Q: 3. Would a Mac Pro 2019 fit inside this case??

A: Yes it can.

Q: 4. How many Avenger 5034 wheeled stands plus boom extensions can this hold?

A: One Avenger 5034 stand would fit in the HPRC 6500 Wheeled Hard Resin Case with Tripod Holder Kit (Black).

Q: 5. What does WF mean in the model name?

A: WF stands for 'With Foam".

Q: 6. Will this Case fit a Libec LX7 Tripod With Fluid Head and Floor Spreader?

Q: 7. Do you know if this would fit the Manfrotto 536 Carbon Fiber Tripod with 509HD Video Head?

A: Yes, it will fit.

Q: 8. Is this case acceptable for travelling internationally? Airline got 50lbs limit for check-in baggage.

A: It is accepted, but because it weighs 11 pounds, you only get 40 to fit in. I've found I can put a tripod, small light stands, slider and some other misc. stuff and keep it right under 50. A VERY solid case, nothing is going to get dinged when it's in this thing. Length is also fine for the airlines, though I've found sometime it's delivered to oversize luggage.

Q: 9. Can I padlock this case. I cannot tell from the pictures if there are secure holes for a padlock ?

A: Yes, you can. It's hard to see, but if you look at the second photo (https://bit.ly/3lPHUPY), right by the latch, you can see a hole meant for locks to go through.

Q: 10. Could this case hold a Manfrotto 525MVB and 3 or 4 light stands?

A: I don't believe so - unless those light stands were very small. Even then it would be tight.

[Universal] This is the third case that we got. We have been using this model and brand for several years, no issues found yet. Just minor scratchings inflicted during flights. It will be great to have more accessories to it, such tools compartments. Or individual boxes to place spare parts.

[19.93 lb] Is it possible to love a case? If so, then I love this one. It holds everything. The velcro straps aren't the highest quality way of holding things in place, but they're moveable and the modularity is excellent. This case does everything I want and it's EXTREMELY light, especially for it's size. It weighs less than my Pelicans that are half it's size.

[Empty] I've been a cinematographer for 38 years. I travel a lot. Cases are very important to me. This case, which I bought to house my Sony PXW-FX9 was perfect for my needs. It houses my camera, lens, viewfinder, and zoom handle with the extension perfectly. I'm extremely pleased with this product. I've never had a Pelican case that didn't meet my expectations, and this one is no different.

[Empty] I've gone from a re-usable shopping bag to this!

I haven't seen any photos that showed a professional and safe way to transport expensive PTZ Canon CR-N500 cameras to each live stream gig.

Based on the measurements for two cameras, I settled on this since my other cases are Pelican Air. In the photos you'll see me testing the different orientations. I decided logo up and lens rotated to the side since I didn't want to immediately expose the glass.

I watched a few tutorials and tips on how to pluck on YouTube and I will also try spraying this with Plastidip to make the foam last longer.

I can't consider this a review, but based on my years of use of my other Pelican cases, I feel this will last quite awhile. I just wanted to share pics of this setup in case others were looking for a good way to secure 2 similar sized PTZ cameras. I considered an inexpensive light stand / light roller, but I wanted a hard case.

[19.93 lb] After recently expanding into live streaming, I needed a case that would protect and carry all of my live streaming equipment. This thing has so much space and I love the different compartments it has. The ability to simply pull out the top compartment has been such an awesome feature.
