Ideal for professionals, hobbyists, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds, the red Nanuk 915 Hard Utility Case with Foam - Redfrom Nanuk 915 Hard Utility Case with Foam - Redis made from a crushproof, dustproof, and waterproof lightweight NK-7 polypropylene resin. It protects and stores delicate medium-sized items like small laptops, tablets, cameras, electronics, drones, sample kits, tools, handguns, and equipment of all sorts. This case comes with a cubed foam insert that can be customized to best fit your gear. A convoluted foam insert for the lid ensures your delicate equipment won't shift out of place.

Its lid gasket is held fast with dual PowerClaw latches. These patented latches use compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut. These latches also have an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening accidentally. For additional security, there are two 0.3" padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. A molded-in bezel system allows the use of optional inserts to be installed quickly and easily without needing to modify your case. A built-in pressure relief valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. Further design features include rustproof stainless steel hardware and a foldable soft-grip top handle.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. would this case hold larger camera bodies and lens if I lay the bodies down flat along with the lens?

A: I think so, but not many of the larger bodies/lenses will fit. I have a Fuji XT1 and three lenses, plus filters, 5 spare batteries, and various other bits, and they all fit fine. I got the padded inserts rather than the foam. I highly recommend this case, or a bit larger one from Nanuk. It's a pleasure to use.

Q: 2. Anyone know the dimensions of the foam itself, without the box?

A: The dimensions of the foam inserts in the Nanuk 915 Hard-Shell Case for DJI Mini 3/Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo (Black) are 13.8 x 9.3 x 6.2".

Q: 3. What GF lenses will fit in the case?

A: the length of the lenses have to be less than 4.5 inches.

Q: 4. Can the DJI Air 3 or Air 3S fit in this case?

A: No, the Nanuk 915 Waterproof Hard Case with Insert for DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo (Orange) will not accommodate a DJI Air 3. For the Air 3, there's the Nanuk 920 Hard-Shell Case for DJI Air 3 Pro Fly More Combo (Orange), B&H # NA920S080OR0.

Q: 5. Does this case accommodate the DJI Smart controller?

A: The Nanuk 915 Waterproof Hard Case with Insert for DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo will not accommodate the SJI smart controller.

Q: 6. Will the Nikon Z6 with the native 50mm fit in this case?

A: It would be too small. Pelican makes one that would work https://bhpho.to/2JHFJxv.

Q: 7. Will the Sony A1 fit in this case?

A: The Sony A1 is a bit larger than the A7R, so there is no guarantee that it will fit into the 920 Case.

Q: 8. Would this fit a canon R5? I know it's designed for the Sony bodies but it would be great to know if anyone has fit a Canon mirrorless in here!

A: Unfortunately, I am not sure. The Nanuk 920 Case for Sony a7R Camera and Lid Foam (Black), B&H # NA920ESON1, includes pre-cut foam that is designed for use with the Sony Alpha a7R Mirrorless Digital Cameras (or cameras of similar dimensions). The Sony Alpha a7R Digital Camera's dimensions are 5 x 3.7 x 1.89" (127 x 94 x 48 mm). The Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Digital Camera's dimensions are 5.43 x 3.84 x 3.46" (138 x 98 x 88 mm). The Canon EOS R5 is slightly larger than the Sony Alpha a7R Digital Camera, so your results may vary. However, as the pre-cut insert is manufactured from foam, if you need more room from your camera, it may be possible to take a sharp blade such as an X-Acto Knife or a box cutter to expand the size of the foam to fit your camera.

Q: 9. What the outer dimensions of this case?

A: The dimension of the Nanuk 915 Hard-Shell Case for DJI Mini 3/Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo are L15.4" x W12.2" x H6.8"

Q: 10. Will this fit the canon r10 with the 18-150 mm lens and the canon f1.8 18mm macro lens?

A: Unfortunately, the Nanuk 904 Case with Foam would be too small for the Canon EOS R10 with the RF 18-150mm attached and an additional lens. A more suitable case is the Pelican Vault V300 Large Case with Lid Foam and Dividers (Black), BH # PEV300LLDB. https://bhpho.to/3UtzzlH

[Red] The interior depth of this case is a little bit shallow. But it’s good enough for hold small lens vertically. Also good for drones. Like this solid case

[Yes] At first I thought it may have been a little less sturdy then the equivalent pelican case though when compared side by side they are relatively the same. I do like the latches much nicer then my pelican model.

[Yes] Purchased on sale and great value based on the price I paid.  I will comment on some features that might not be obvious from the product information.  The handle has a spring to hold it against the case when not being used.  The grey part of the handle is a rubber compound that has excellent grip.  There are two places to attach a lock and they are reinforced with metal collars which appear to be stainless steel.  The lid has a nice feature that there is a mechanism that when fully open keeps it from flopping back closed.  Note that you cannot open more than about 95 degrees.  The latches are protected and you have to squeeze the silver-grey sliders down before you can unlatch so will not accidentally open.

[Handle] Nanuk is great. This is a perfectly sized medium sized case for an A7S3 kit or similar.

[Handle] Nanuk is going to be my new go to for hard cases. Their latches are superior to that other company, and just overall they feel more polished. And the prices are great, too.

[Red] Manila makes a fine case. The pick and pluck is harder to work with, so I use a foam knife, but it pays off. Locks are secure.

[Latch] Delivery was delayed but, this item is wonderfully large, sturdy, but light. Size to me is proper. It feels well made. There will be some tricks in cutting the foam inserts. Worth the price.

[Red] I have this case and a similar sized Pelican, the latter of which cost nearly twice as much. I would say this Nanuk is 3/4 the value. If you just want a hard case to keep things in storage, or from getting banged up in the back of a car etc. This is the perfect case, and I got mine on sale so double win. Its a quality built product. It is not however a Pelican, if you plan on getting down and dirty with your case, going into extreme environments, dragging it behind your car down the road etc. Spend the extra cash, if you just need a hard case for taking on planes, or something to keep gear dry while camping or in storage, this is the product for you. That is really the only difference I see between the two is the thickness/stiffness of the shell, and the sturdiness of the clasps. That is not to say this one is lacking in those things, but if I press really hard on the center of the lid, it will bow in a small amount, not enough to damage anything but a little. I would be confident throwing my pelican out of a plane. So ask yourself what you plan to do with this case, and buy accordingly, dollar for dollar I think the Nanuk has move value to most users.
