Designed for professionals, photographers, and hobbyists, the blue 920 Hard Case from Nanuk has a 16L capacity to store and protect delicate items including laptops, tablets, cameras, lenses, electronics, drones, sample kits, tools, handguns with spare magazines and hearing protection, medical equipment, first aid supplies, and other gear.

Made from lightweight crush, dust, and waterproof NK-7 polypropylene resin, it has a gasketed lid and dual PowerClaw latches. These patented latches use compressive force to keep the case securely closed. An integrated slide lock prevents the case from opening accidentally, even if dropped. The case accepts user-supplied padlocks for additional security. A molded-in bezel system allows the use of optional inserts that can be installed quickly and easily without the need to modify your case. A built-in pressure relief valve regulates the internal pressure. Further design features include rustproof stainless steel hardware and a folding soft-grip top handle.

A: It is possible to fit Sigma Cinema Prime Lenses in this case, but it may be too shallow for the Sigma Cinema Zoom lenses.

Q: 2. Could a 5.3x7.3x9.4in drive in this case with the pick-n-pluck?

A: The interior dimensions of the Pelican 1507AirWF Hard Carry Case with Foam Insert and Liner (Black) are 15.2 x 11.4 x 8.5" / 38.6 x 29 x 21.6 cm, and they allow you to place an object that is 5.3 x 7.3 x 9.4" in size inside of it when using the Pick 'N' Pluck foam.

Q: 3. Can this fit a Sony a7siii?

A: Yes a Sony A7siii does fit in this case.

Q: 4. Can the Meike ff cine prime lenses PL mount fit in ?

A: Yes, the Meike Full-Frame Cine Prime PL-mount lenses will fit in the Nanuk 918 6-Lens Case with Foam Insert (Black).

Q: 5. Will this case hold an Astra and a couple batteries with a small charger? Or does an Astra pretty much fill it up?

A: You will be able to fit the Astra 1x1 and batteries with a charger in the Nanuk 945.

Q: 6. would this case hold larger camera bodies and lens if I lay the bodies down flat along with the lens?

A: I think so, but not many of the larger bodies/lenses will fit. I have a Fuji XT1 and three lenses, plus filters, 5 spare batteries, and various other bits, and they all fit fine. I got the padded inserts rather than the foam. I highly recommend this case, or a bit larger one from Nanuk. It's a pleasure to use.

Q: 7. Will the DJI Phantom 4 fit the NANUK 945 made for a DJI Phantom 3?

Q: 8. Can you tell me if this will hold a set of DZO Vespid prime ?

A: We recommend the following case for Vespid lenses. https://bhpho.to/3zLO0aL

Q: 9. Would this fit a canon R5? I know it's designed for the Sony bodies but it would be great to know if anyone has fit a Canon mirrorless in here!

A: Unfortunately, I am not sure. The Nanuk 920 Case for Sony a7R Camera and Lid Foam (Black), B&H # NA920ESON1, includes pre-cut foam that is designed for use with the Sony Alpha a7R Mirrorless Digital Cameras (or cameras of similar dimensions). The Sony Alpha a7R Digital Camera's dimensions are 5 x 3.7 x 1.89" (127 x 94 x 48 mm). The Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Digital Camera's dimensions are 5.43 x 3.84 x 3.46" (138 x 98 x 88 mm). The Canon EOS R5 is slightly larger than the Sony Alpha a7R Digital Camera, so your results may vary. However, as the pre-cut insert is manufactured from foam, if you need more room from your camera, it may be possible to take a sharp blade such as an X-Acto Knife or a box cutter to expand the size of the foam to fit your camera.

Q: 10. How many layers of foam is included or is it just one big block of pick foam?

A: It's one big block of pick and pluck foam.

[Empty] This case is being used for my a7siii. Tight fit but it works. Nanuk cases are excellent

[Universal] This is an excellently designed case with complete flexibility for layout with the removable velcro pads. The push-down lock design is brilliant and effortless to use, and very secure. The size is designed for DSLRs, but I was able to fit a BMPCC 4K camera and 3 cinema lenses in a good configuration with room for batteries and a couple accessories. For any more equipment one of the larger sizes would be needed.

[Handle] While many probably use these for transport, I use it as dry case for my lenses. I use a Ruggard Renewable Dehumidifier with it and it will go a couple of months before needing to be recharged. Because I'm using it for storage, I remove the foam from the base of the case but keep the foam in the lid. I really appreciate that Nanuk doesn't glue these in so I can use them as I wish. I store the lenses in their soft cases so they don't get damaged. The 920 allows me to keep seven of my most expensive lenses in it, all Olympus, mZD 8mm f1.8, 12mm f2, 45mm f1.2, 12-40 f2.8, 12-100 f4, and ZD 50mm f2, 14-35 f2 along with the dehumidifier. I store my long lenses in a PortaBrace 2500, but it does not seem to be as well sealed as the Nanuk so I have to recharge the dehumidifier more often with that one. Thumbs up to Nanuk!

[5.985 lb] After a case from the P manufacturer, I decided to try Nanuk and have not looked back. I have reorganized all my telescope equipment to fit into color coded cases (black for night, yellow for solar, red for eyepieces, orange for my eQuinox 2, and graphite for power and computers... not that it matters). The latches take a little getting used to as you have to intend to open them as opposed to popping open accidentally in transit or from handling, but now they are second nature.

I always get the foam insert and then customize for the equipment. I see comments from others about the foam, but it is the same pick-n-pluck foam that you see from several sources.

The cases seal nicely, which is great protection from the elements.

I do agree that it is likely cheaper to purchase the parts replacement than to ship it to Canada if something goes wrong, but you need to factor in the probability that it will be necessary... which from my experience is incredibly slim.

If there was one wish it would be that they would have colored latches available for purchase. Oh, and it would be nice to have a tripod case to match my other cases.

I do prefer them over other brands. Today I added a 918 and a 962 to my collection.

Here is an image of my 920 with eyepieces and growing room vertically and on the 1st floor.

And B&H does a great job getting my stuff to me quickly.

[Handle] I wish the case lid was a little deeper to allow for a regular laptop to fit. A tablet or very thin laptop fits. The pouches are awesome and make organization and retrieval a breeze. Get the strap and this will be the best case you ever owned.

[Empty] I recently got the N-PVD 30L backpack but I'm not a fan of the tough, deep dividers and wanted something shallower that would better fit my small lenses, and have softer more flexible dividers to keep them from moving around.

I purchased two of these and stack them on top of each other inside the N-PVD 30L backpack. This is a tight but fairly perfect squeeze. Although they are decently well built, I doubt this method will last forever (the bottom of the divider insert is hard styrofoam and does not seem designed to have things pushing up against it), at least compared to the proper method of using Cubik organizers. It would be great to see Nanuk perhaps make a shallow Cubik option in the future which could stack like this but with lids/better durability.

This organizer will hold uncaged Sony FX3/FX30 or rangefinder style cameras upright or just about any mirrorless/DSLR camera lying down (it won't fit most cameras with viewfinders upright). It is great for holding small to medium size lenses lying down, large diaphragm microphones of all types, portable recorders, most batteries, etc. I was able to fit 3 cameras, 2 large microphones, alternative lenses, a small mic preamp, and several batteries in the two dividers without mentioning the top, back, or exterior storage of the 30L backpack.

[Yes] Bought this as an extra case to store my monitors, lavs and miscellaneous cords. The pockets up top are a little small but great for those little bits and pieces.
