The Miller CX6 SOLO-Q 75 Carbon Fiber 2-Stage Tripodis designed to accommodate a wide payload range with 16 steps of counterbalance. Pan, tilt, and counterbalance can all be set to zero, enabling even the lightest of cameras to be supported. Maxed out, this head is rated to support camera setups up to 26.4 pounds, suitable for small cinema cameras with rigs or medium sized ENG camcorders. Securing your camera or rig is easy. The sideload plate design enables you to simply drop in your camera without the alignment issues posed by rear-loading variations. The plate offers 2.4" of sliding range to balance your rig.

To survive fast-paced shooting environments, the CX6 is die-cast from a lightweight, yet durable metal alloy with composite polymers and precision ball-bearings for smooth mechanical operation. Even in harsh conditions, the CX6 will perform reliably. The base of the CX6 is a 75 ball for mounting to compatible tripods and grip equipment. An illuminated bubble level makes it easy to level the CX6 in dark environments. A pan handle with a 15.4" fixed length is included and a second rosette is incorporated for attaching an optional second pan handle.

Q: 1. Hi! I plan to use this tripod with a Sachtler aktiv fluid head, but for that I need to make sure of the compatibility. There is a centered hole in the bowl where the head is mounted and I would like to know it's diameter. Could you please check it for me?

A: Yes. The following unit will adapt to the 75mm bowl drop.

Q: 2. Will the Miler CX6 fit on Sachtler Flowtech MS 75?

A: Yes, Miller CX series 75mm tripod heads, such as the Miller CX6 Fluid Head are compatible with Sachtler Flowtech MS 75 legs.

Q: 3. Will the Manfrotto 504HD head fit on this tripod? https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/683559-REG/Manfrotto_504HD_504HD_Fluid_Video_Head.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/683559-REG/Manfrotto_504HD_504HD_Fluid_Video_Head.html/aDo I need any adapters?

A: It should fit, I used it with Manfrotto 502 and 516 fluid head. This is one of the best designed tripods I've ever used. One lever controls both leg extensions at the same time. Very quick setup.

Q: 4. How does this tripod hold up after long terme use? I've read the rubber feet fall off easily after a while. How about the locks, do they stay secure over time?

A: This is a good entry level tripod and will work as expected. If you have a long term project with anticipated hard use, you may wish to invest in a tripod meant for such use.

Q: 5. Does anyone have any experience using this head with lighter cameras like a GH5 or Blackmagic Pocket Cam? How does the counterblance work at the lower end of it's settings?

A: With 16 selectable counter balance positions ( including 0 ) as well as 4 drag settings ( including 0 ) , running light weight cameras such as the GH5 or Pocket Cinema Camera do well.

Q: 6. Does this tripod come with a bag?

A: It doesn't but its worth the price.

Q: 7. I'm planning to purchase this kind of tripod but do I need to purchase Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm Half Ball too in able for me to mount my Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base? Does it included in the package?

A: The Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm Half Ball is not included with this tripod. You will have to purchase it as well to mount the 502AH head on it. https://bhpho.to/2P4qQZm

Q: 8. Are there other feet that will fit this tripod? The ones that come with it are not good and fall off easily.

A: We are not aware of alternative feet that you could use with this tripod. The only feet we know that will work are the included ones.

Q: 9. It says with 75mm ball but see the ball nowhere in any of the photos of descriptions. Rather it says 75mm bowl. Does this version come with a ball?

A: This product doesn't include a tripod head. You can get the same version with the head.

Q: 10. I want to transport this tripod without the ball head in an international flight. What are the dimensions when completely fold, does it fit in a regular check-in bag?

A: Its folded/collapsed dimensions are 28" in length, with roughly a 8" diameter (including apex/spider). It might fit diagonally within a large check-in bag, but your results may vary based on luggage size, carrier restrictions, etc.

[Yes] Meets my needs perfectly. Great value for the price.

[Yes] The DS-10 is light, the head action very smooth, the tripod is quick to set up and tear down. Let the legs out gently, though. One of the coolest things about the DS-10 is how low it goes: there's just enough clearance so the leveling handle isn't on the ground. In that configuration, it looks like a three-legged spider. So you can easily get extremely low shots on a fluid head, and the rubber feet let you stick it in the middle of a long, expensive board room table without leaving a mark. Lack of a spreader makes them hard to sandbag, which is where lightness can cause trouble. We've rented DS-20's as well. Bigger, heavier, not quite as flexible but able to handle larger loads.

[Fluid Head] There are many reviews on this tripod, but bottom line: it is excellent! It's reasonably priced and can accommodate a pretty heavy rig. I'm impressed. I love the next to nothing weight as well!

[75 mm Half Ball] I use this for documentary filmmaking. The head is completely smooth and well built. The legs are very stable and easy to use.

[75 mm Half Ball] Great tripod. Light. Secure lock. Could not ask for better. Like it better than Sachlers since I hate the spreader. Used big Manfrotto's in the past. No comparison. Own a Gitzo as well, which is close to Miller but still like Miller. Will buy Miller again if I need another one.

[Fluid Head] Have been a long time Bogen user looking for a good lightweight versatile tripod system. After seeing the DV20 in action at a videographers convention i was sold. Its rock solid even though I was used to a mid-level spreader. My first assignment was shooting a modeling segment and I loved the fact that I could get so low to the ground with this tripod.
