[Lithium-Ion] I bought this for my Panasonic HC-X2 so I wouldn't have to rely on the battery for some indoor stationary shoots. Absolutely no problems using the unit. The plastic casing seems somewhat flimsy compared to the quality of the materials of the camera, but it looks like it can stand up to normal wear and tear. 5
