[0.24 lb] I was dummy enough to not knowing you have to successfully close the battery door in order to use the dummy battery. I even requested a refund lol and didn’t notice the little sticker on the adapter. This item is perfect especially I own two 95 v mount batteries. I can now shoot all day.

[20" / 51 cm] This is a great way to run a camera off a v-mount battery or any other battery with a d-tap out. I attached it to my Watson Pro VM-144-MN mini v-mount battery, and it is working flawlessly. The larger batteries with a d-tap last much, much longer than the LP-E6 camera batteries. On a side note, I love the Watson brand batteries. They are great, last long and provide excellent bang for the buck. My v-mount battery lasts all day with my Canon 5D M3. I love that. And if you put your camera on rails, they make mounts for v-mount batteries, so this could be used for a great run and gun set-up. Perfect for long days of shooting or to impress a client with your cool camera rig. It's perfect for long shoots or when the camera needs to run for a long time without the need to change batteries. It is also great for table-tops, match cut shots, stop motion animation shoots or any situation where you can't move the camera or it is difficult to change batteries, like when on a jib. The coiled cable is a great length that stretches out to 24” but coils up nice and neat when you do not need the entire length. My Canon 5d M3 has a little notch on the battery door to pass the cable thru for this dummy battery.  This should be the case for all Canon cameras that use the LP-E6 battery. It was very easy to install. The build quality of this dummy battery is also very impressive. This dummy battery also comes with a built-in voltage regulator to protect everything, which is great. Another added benefit to this dummy battery adapter is having this in your kit as a great emergency back-up for power. I like having that as a nice peace of mind. I'm very happy with this product. Again, this works just as advertised and is a helpful addition to my camera package. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review].

[P-Tap] I am a religious researcher before I buy a new item. I looked for weeks to find a device that would let me hook my Canon 1DX Mk 2 to DTap so I could have longer video recording times. I saw this item on B&H and a similar item by Wooden Camera. But I couldn't find ANY reviews on either item...so I was worried they wouldn't work. I didn't want to risk a purchase of over $120 on an item that might not work. I haven't used any Wooden Camera items, but I know Anton Bauer has an amazing reputation. So I called B&H and talked to a salesman. He was friendly but honestly didn't know anything about the item either. He did tell me it would likely be shipped directly from the manufacturer. So I decided to take a chance and I ordered one. It came amazingly fast and I received it in two days. The dummy batter fits pretty snugly inside the camera, but with no problems. When you turn the camera on you do get the standard does this have the Canon logo question. Sometimes I have to turn it on and off a couple times until I can tell it no and power up anyway. Once its on, it works. I have tested it for up to 40 minutes so far, and have had no problems. It works exactly as I had hoped. The only issue I've had at all is when I use a four port Dtap connector so I can power multiple items. If the camera is on and plugged into one of those ports, if I plug in something else into one of the other ports it turns the camera off. I guess it has something to do with a change in the voltage or something. At any rate...if I have multiple items plugged in and running and dont unplug, or plug in, anything....the devices all work wonderfully. If you're considering buying this item...don't be afraid. It works exactly as you would expect it to. I'm very pleased.
