I love the feature that locks on the subject's eyes to help with clearer pictures as the subject moves. (I have to admit I have not had the opportunity to use this feature yet, but I will soon.)

[Yes] This camera put a huge smile on my face day one. Very easy to learn on and image quality is stunning. I have been taking incredible shots with the 18-55 kit lens. I ordered the 55-250 is stm mans I can only imagine how sweet that will be. After researching and watching tons of videos for a couple weeks I am so glad I decided to get the t8i. I bought it for wildlife, hiking, YouTube and taking pictures of my woodworking projects. Fantastic camera for a reasonable price. Well done Canon

[8 x 6.3 x 1.5"] This camera takes absolutely breathtaking photos! I've only had it a couple weeks and what I've taken so far are beyond what I imagined.

[0.32 lb] I received my t8i about 2 weeks ago and have been playing with it ever since to see how well it performs. Let me just say that the quality of the photos and videos are amazing! You wouldn’t expect this kind of performance from a beginner DSLR, if you can call it that. The high ISO range gives incredible flexibility with shutter speed and in lowlight, which will produce some great results.

The ability to get 4K resolution using just the kit lens is pretty cool, but pairing the camera with a quality prime or zoom lens takes it to another level. I personally have it paired with the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 most of the time, and the results are incredible!

The bottom line is this may be the best camera you can get without shelling out over $1000 for a camera body. It is advanced enough that you can get great results, but easy enough for the average hobby photographer to be able to use. Very happy with this purchase!

*Note: If you are just buying the camera to take family pictures or to shoot as a hobby, then buying it with the kit lens is fine. But if you are interested in getting the most out of the camera, save the money by getting the body only and then purchase a better lens to pair it with.

[Yes] Worked great with some lens' I rented on a recent project and was I was amazed at the quality. I used a CanonT5i for years and I love all the improvements and upgrades on this model.

[8 x 6.3 x 1.5"] Decided to upgrade from my T2i and was not disappointed. Plenty of new upgrades from the old model and retains the same familiarity of functions.
