[Leica L] This adapter not only lets me use Leica-mount lenses on my R6, it changes close focus from 22 inches down to 6 or thereabouts.

[Aluminum] I've used a number of adapters and this one by 7artisans works very well. The fit is snug and the lenses don't wiggle. It allows you to use the lens normally, focusing out to infinity; and with a simple twist it will let you reduce your focal distance - essentially working like an extension tube.

One bonus with an adapter like this, if your lens focuses past infinity you can use the close focus ring to back off the lens so that the focus ring stops exactly at infinity - great if you're zone focusing and want to adjust to infinity without needing to check focus.

There's no electronics in this adapter, so no exif data is transferred to the camera. These adapters exist, but not with close focus capabilities, and I feel that the close focus function is far more valuable.

[0.1 lb] This adapter is great to adapt manual M mount lenses to Canon R cameras. Your Summicrons and Noktons have a new destination. The helicon allows a much closer focus than the usual 0.7 m limit for these lenses. It is simple and it works.

[Aluminum] It's simple, good and cost-effective. On top of allowing you to mount your typical Leica mount manual lenses, including Zeiss of Voigtlander, to just attach to your Fuji or Sonly cameras, it allows you to also focus much closer than normally possible. Personally I am using this to mount my Leica and Zeiss lenses on my Fujifilm cameras. Highly recomended.

[Leica L] Not sure about all the negative reviews but mine works perfect… does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

[0.1 lb] I have the close focus adapter attached to my Sony 7RIIIA. It mounted firmly, no wiggle, and locks. The Leica M mount lens I attached was my VM mount Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1. It mounted firmly, no wiggle and locks. I picked this lens because it is a stellar performer on my Sony but normal close focus distance is 3.5 ft. / 1 meter range. With the close focus adapter in place I am able to focus to about 14 inches. The adapter has +/- 4mm of adjustment facilitating consistant tack sharp results. 99% of my shooting is hand held. I imagine on a tripod the +/- 14 I've estimated could get better. Time will tell if it holds up under repeated average use. IMO for the price it's worth a try.

[Aluminum] The adapter fits my lens and R6 together with no gaps, no wiggles, and no grinding. It's easy to install, and easy to remove. This is also one of the few adapters I've used that actually holds onto the rear lens cap like it ought to!
