Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Bogie Dual Reverb 25 Rig TH-U Downloadis a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its models ported to multiple platforms.

This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Rectoverb 25 amplifier head. This head excels at distilling the essence of a modern trend: achieving a cranked-up sound through a low-wattage amp. Expect a searing sound that is perfect for blistering leads and rhythm parts alike, especially when you consider that the amp's graphical EQ was also modeled to give you extra tonal controls, such as the coveted midrange scoop sound popular in harder genres.

Choptones has modeled this amp in multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes. You'll find 181 rigs offered in total, captured with Shure, Royer, Neumann, and other microphones. Multiple cabinets have been utilized from Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Orange, Engl, and more. Many distortion pedals have been modeled as well.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this head fit properly on the Miller solo DV Tripod ?

A: It is best to stick with heads/legs made by the same manufacturer to guarantee the best fit. Your combination will work as long as both the head and legs are 75mm ball compatible but a Miller head will typically have more range to level the head and lock down tighter on Miller legs than a Libec head (and same goes for a Miller head with Libec legs).

Q: 2. What kind of Matte Box can I use with it?

A: The Revo SR-1500 Dual Grip Shoulder rig will support any Mattebox model that allows for 15mm Rod connection.

Q: 3. Is there a counterweight that can be added to the back?

A: Yes, there is. Here are three suggestions.

Q: 4. Are the rods positioned a standard horizontal distance from each other? Can I slide my Wooden Camera 15mm base plate onto these with the handgrips and shoulder pad?

A: Great product!

Q: 5. Will this work with a Sony EX-1?

A: Yes, they are compatible and will work well together.

Q: 6. IS THE PLATE A 501 SIZE PLATE ?

A: No, the plate that is included with the Libec TH-X Head with Pan Handle is not a 501 size plate.

Q: 7. I am looking for a quick release plate for this rig so I don't have to unscrew my camera off the rig to take it off. What would be the best quick release plate to purchase for this product?

A: Quick release systems that would work well with the Revo Rig would be B&H # MA577 or B&H # MA394. The MA577 will allow mounting of DSLR or Video Cameras. The MA577 also allows sliding adjustments and the plate is compatible with Manfrotto or Benro heads (S4,S6) that use the 501PL plate style. The MA394 is much more compact and does not slide. It is mainly for a DSLR camera types.

Q: 8. Would this be able to handle the Blackmagic Pyxis?

A: Yes, the CAMVATE Dual Rubber Grip Handheld Shoulder Mount Rig would be compatible with the Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K Cinema Box Camera, as the quick release plate has both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws to mount the camera.

Q: 9. can you slide back the camera over the shoulder pad ?

A: There is a set of 15mm rods from the shoulder pad that prevent it from sliding over the shoulder pad.

Q: 10. What is the width of the rod clamps? Want to make sure this matches another shoulder rig I own.

A: The SmallRig Shoulder Rig Dual-Handle Kit are designed to work with the standard LWS 15mm rods which always have a spacing of 60mm.

[Download] Hey it doesn't say 'ARRI' on so it costs like $1100 less and does exactly the same thing. Wee!

[Download] I swapped these in for some cheap Neewer handles and they were a game changer! The nice rosette style allows me to hold the whole shoulder rig with one hand, without anything slowly slipping, sliding, shifting.

[Download] These rigs sound amazing! Lots of different impulses and captures to match most scenarios. The addition of direct rigs for use with even more impulse responses is a huge bonus.

[Download] I had a lite version with Edius 10 video editing software. It worked pretty good. So I bought the full version to run with Resolve 17 and Adobe Audition. It works really well on natural room reverb.

[Download] I recently purchased the Lexicon PCM Reverb Bundle and I am in love. I have several other great and often-used reverb plug-ins, but to me these Lex's seem to sit in mixes nicely and in most instances, seem to be lighter on the CPU than most other units of comparable quality. I am primarily running these in Pro Tools 10.3 (RTAS) on a Win7-64 system without a hitch. They also run flawlessly in Reaper 32 and 64 bit as VST on the same Win 7-64 machine. Just for kicks I also ran them inside PT as a VST Rewire without a problem. I am hoping they will develop an AAX version at a reasonable cost to upgrade before PT releases 11. The high cost of these has always been the reason I put off getting these, but they are well worth it.
