A: Yes, it would be possible to terminate the Ethernet cables before the VDA of the KanexPro 1x8 HDMI Distribution Amplifier and Cat 5e/6 Extender Kit (18 Gb/s) as long as the patches are one to one. Please note that your transmission distance may be reduced when using a patch panel.

Q: 2. Will this work with a PTZ controller to a PTZ cam (like PTZ optics)?

A: Yes

Q: 3. Will the Lee filter holder fit inside this pouch?

A: The filters themselves fit very well and seem very protected. The filter holder that comes with the individual filters will not fit in the pouch. I do really like the pouch and its versatility. I would highly recommend it.

A: You will need one of the RED DSMC2 Expander Modules.

Q: 5. Would this pouch also work for the LEE Big Stopper which is 100 mm x 100 mm? How about non-LEE round screw-on filters such as polarizing filters? Not sure if the sleeves are too deep for filters other than the LEE 100 mm x 150 mm filters.

A: Yes, you could use the LEE Field Pouch for 100x100mm or the 105mm circular polarizing filter as well as the 100x150mm filters.

Q: 8. Will this work with 4k camera?

A: for 12G i your best to go with Belden 4794R, but from what i understand 1694A can work, but pretty dependant on your other pieces and lengths.

Q: 9. Would this cable only work on RED or would it work on any other cameras with a Mini XLR input (say BMPCC 4K)?

A: I am not using my cable on a camera, but am using it on a Velodyne subwoofer with a calibration mike. Since it is a standard gender changer, I don't see why it would not work on your camera. I purchased mine because the mini XLR connector on my Velodyne is recessed and other cables I tried would not fit in the recessed hole. This cable is very well made.

Q: 10. Will this work with a Blackmagic Design Video Assist 7" 12G-SDI/HDMI HDR Recording Monitor?

[100 MHz] Not much to say, it's an ethernet cable. I used this for a PoE camera and it just works. Even though the protective boot makes it a little harder to release the connector clip, I don't have to worry about it getting hooked on something and snapping the clip off. 5

[T568B] The 3' and 1' length includes the plug and boot, so subtract 3 inches of effective reach. The 3' length works well for wall - switch for me; 1' length is basically good for switch - patch panel in the rack type runs. 5

[RJ45 Male] I use this cable to control a Sony camera that is not permanently installed; therefore we unroll and roll up this cable with every event. Easy to handle and the cable rarely gets all tangled up. 5

[RJ45 Male] I purchased about 30 of these and found having a box cutter and wire snips made un-packing much easier. I had to slide the cover down to disengage from port when moving places on the board but super easy to slide back over clip. 5
