The Proaim Docking Balance Bracket for Stabilizers Accessorieslets you dock your stabilizer and stabilizer accessories on a C-stand when you need to swap batteries, switch cameras, or simply take a break.

The bracket attaches to a C-stand with a 5/8" post and provides three mounting points. On one end, it provides an industry-standard 16mm diameter post that holds most mechanical stabilizers via the stabilizer handle. This post can also be used as a hook on which you can hang the vests or spring arms of Steadicam-type stabilizers. In the center, there's another post just like this one. And on the other end, the bracket offers a U-shaped mounting point with a locking pin. The locking pin is secured to an integrated wire so that it won't get lost. The bracket is designed with high-grade aluminum to support heavy loads.

The bracket is also foldable into about half its size for easier storage when you want to pack it away.

[28.2 oz / 800 g] I was looking for the best solution for a dock. You are gonna need one if you want to balance your steadicam the right way. These things are hard to find but this is definitely a great buy plus you can fold it in half for easy storage. 5

[55 lb / 25 kg] I purchased this with my Glidecam HD2000. I knew it was not a necessity, but my thinking is, I want to make this process as easy as possible. I also was pretty sure my light stands were too fat for the Glidecam Handle to slide onto, and I was right. Having watched dozens of videos online of people holding it balancing it, I figured it would be easier to adjust everything by having this bracket so I wouldn't have to hold anything. Having this makes balancing a breeze. If you have any doubt about it, go ahead and trying it. The other thing is, it provides a safe place to put your camera when it's mounted at say a wedding. While the Glidecam does stand up on its own, I feel safer having this setup with the dock to place it onto when I need a break. 5
