The WB-IP Wireless Base Station - Autoscriptrequires just one separately available Ethernet cable for both power and network connectivity. The base station sends control data from the optional WC-IP to your software application and transmits configuration data to the WC-IP. With a range of up to 100' the WB-IP can be positioned in a discreet location, such as the lighting grid, allowing the WC-IP to be used in large and small studios. LED indicators on the base station clearly display power and network connectivity, while status is also displayed in the WinPlus-IP device management window.

A: You can connect up to two complete systems to add more belt packs. Connect another Livecom1000 to increase the total beltpacks to 8 via the interface 4-wire port. An RJ45 T-568B cable can be used.

A: there are no mentions of internet restrictions on this product

A: The software is sold separately. It is designed for Autoscript Newsroom Licence For WinPlus-IP Studio Prompting Software Application which is only available for Windows computers.

Q: 4. How many base stations are supported? Is this the 2.0 base station?

A: This is the original. It can support two base stations.

Q: 5. Does this come with software to control the unit?

A: Unfortunately it does not. The WinPlus-IP software that it integrates with directly is not included.

Q: 6. Question for PC. My motherboard does not have SPDIF out. Can this receive audio and send mic input through the USB A or micro-USB ports?

A: Yes, to a PC all you would need is to connect the USB.

Q: 7. could this system interface with telephone system?

A: This device can control third-party devices over IP and may be able to be integrated into an IP telephone system with the additional components. B&H recommends consulting a certified IP telephone systems professional/consultant to assess installation and integration into an existing network.

Q: 8. Hi there, would this unit be allowed for use in Australia?

A: The Specds don't say which version of 1.9Ghz units operate in. As this unit is sold in the U.S. it is UNLIKELY to be allowed in Australia. ( There are rules set for the EXACT frequencies i.e. the U.S. frequency is v4 1920-1930 Ghz, Australia allows operation in !880 tp 1900). The other Spec that must be considered is the allowable power level in different countries... IKAN MAY manufacture for other countries specs, you could check with them.

Q: 9. Can you run this on a laptop and output via your computer HDMI to a regular TV without additional purchases?

A: The Autoscript Newsroom Licence For WinPlus-IP Studio Prompting Software Application does not enable output via HDMI, only via VGA or IP.

Q: 10. Is this com suitable for a loud environment, like a nightclub?

A: Yes the ikan Livecom1000 is suitable for a loud environment like a nightclub.

[0.335 lb] The base is the latest 2022 revision model for the 1.0 version, came in original packaging and and a US plug, works well paired with an old 2018 model. Thanks for the amazing MSRP price after all these years. 5

[PoE] Have two running side by side and they work well together. Have used one of them as a one way communication device by plugging in a mic to the XLR connection to coordinate with staff and had little to no interference when behind walls or on the other side of the room. Has plenty of channels and lots of options for quality control of the sound to the receivers by being able to select different channels. 5
