Built for strength and portability, the orange Pelican 1605AirWF Hard Case with Foam (Orange)is designed to be dustproof, fully watertight, and crushproof to protect your valuable gear against the harshest handling, shipping, and environmental conditions on the planet. This edition of the 1605Air comes lined, but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the 26 x 14 x 8.4" interior to your specific needs and to your specific gear.

Your case is made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer, with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. Five newly designed dual push-button latches, arrayed on three sides of the case, provide ease-of-use versus previous iterations, and clamp the lid tight to keep dust, dirt, and water out. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to be dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. A polycarbonate card holder may be placed on the front or side of the case.

[Empty] Just what I was looking for to keep my gear safe and secure! Durable and versatile with the perfect amount of room for all my gear.

[Universal] It does what it says. Only thing I would suggest is measure 2x & buy 1x. I need to buy a bigger one b/c I need more space for camera equipment. So I’m trying to see what I can use this one for since I don’t want to return it.

[Handle] Great case, as always. The ability to modify the configuration with TrekPak dividers is extremely helpful.

[Empty] I exclusively fly with this. While I dont put my camera gear in here (no trust in the airlines), anything else is a safe bet. You could probably nuke this thing and it would still be intact.

Ive stood on this to get higher angles, ive used it as a bench, its been thrown, dragged, etc. No problems whatsoever.

[Orange] This is my second 1615Air that I own. I fly a lot with video production gear, and the lighter weight of these cases gives me much more weight to fly in gear, which is always the struggle with a large case, and why I typically fly with smaller cases.

Add on the TrekPack, it allows me to pack and unpack gear faster on site for jobs, and also do a better visual check as I pack to make sure nothing is forgotten or left behind.

I'm typically a Nanuk supporter, but this case has made me think twice. I thought these cases with their lighter weight would crush easier, but I have been flying with my first one for over a year now, with zero issues.

[Orange] I bought this to replace a Pelican 1560, as I had outgrown it. I have always been impressed with Pelican cases, and this 1615 is no different. It feels just as sturdy as the 1560, yet it weighs less while holding more gear. I also like the press and pull locks on the 1615 better than the old-style flip locks.

Pelican cases are certainly not the cheapest cases out there, but they provide tremendous value for the money. There's a reason they're the standard by which everyone else is judged. It's also far easier to find third-party accessories for a Pelican case vs. other brands.

[11.55 lb] Great case from Pelican. I use it to hold my Ronin S and other equipment and it stores in a in a 18D x 36W metal cabinet with the doors closed.

[Latch] I have counted on Pelican hard cases for years to protect my equipment. This case is fantastic since it has all the strength that I expect of a Pelican case but is much lighter. It is really helpful when I have to ship my equipment to a location. I know the equipment is safe and I am paying less in shipping costs.
