Your case is made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer, with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. Five newly designed dual push-button latches, arrayed on three sides of the case, provide ease-of-use versus previous iterations, and clamp the lid tight to keep dust, dirt, and water out. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to be dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. A: Robert i believe they are. I used them for my elinchroms and they were pretty dam tight. I believe the regular paddings that we have in our shoulder bags isnt as great to protect since they have enough space for items to move but when you do foam, you are able to cut exactly as the dimensions of your product. When i put my elinchroms in it, i kept it opened once and just banged it on the ground from my knee height and noticed that they didnt move a bit. Meanwhile i will also try to add in customer shots here on the same page so you could see how i placed the lights.
