The Sabinetek SM-1 VlogMic+ Microphone for SmartMike+ & Smartphonesis a unidirectional add-on microphone designed to improve the audio quality of your recordings for interviews, vlogs, and podcasts. Its 3.5mm TRRS gold-plated connector plugs into the headphone jack of a SmartMike+ Bluetooth microphone or the headphone jack of an iOS/Android smartphone.

The SM-1 VlogMic+ features a cardioid polar pattern that picks up the sound directly in front of the mic, while rejecting unwanted background noise. In addition, the microphone swivels 360°, allowing you to angle it in the direction of the person speaking to provide clearer voice and speech capture.

A: The Sabinetek SmartMike Lite Bluetooth Wireless Clip-on Microphone for Smartphone makes its connection with its host over Bluetooth wireless connection as opposed to hardwired into an external mic input. If the laptop has Bluetooth receiving capabilities, the SmartMike may work in this manner.

A: As two separate mics going bluetooth to the phone, no. That can only be achieved using their specific app for recording. As a single mic when set into Transmitter/ Receiver mode, then you could buy using a TRs to TRRS cable and the required headset adapter for your phone. A: The Sabinetek SmartMike+ Bluetooth Microphone is compatible for use with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, but we cannot confirm whether or not a Bluetooth mic is also compatible with the Sound ID feature on the Merlin Bird ID app. If you have another Bluetooth mic that you can use to test with the app, even the built-in mic on a headset like Apple AirPods, that would help to determine whether the app will work with a Bluetooth microphone.

I have a 1 year old son, so me and my wife spending so much time in kitchen, and it's so good to enjoy your favorite shows on a smartphone, while you preparing food for your baby or family, washing dishes etc... But the question is always Where to put your phone?, especially when you cleaning everything, and water everywhere. I can not say anything about quality of this product right now, but idea is awesome.We all using paper towels, so why not to combine two stands/holders. I definitely will give it a try. 5

I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this.
