[Aluminum] The ARRI mount feature on this cold shoe is by far the best thing about it. Being able to tighten this cold shoe to my nato rail handle and attach a monitor to the front almost certainly requires the two small screws (that is known as the ARRI anti-twist system) so the cold show does not become loose easily. This cold shoe being machined from a single piece of metal is also a plus in that you don't have to worry about it coming apart after many uses. This is a fantastic value at $10! [Aluminum] From video on the fly to higher-end testimonial videos, I can never have enough of these for use on my DSLR camera for videos. Combined with a Vello Triple Shoe Bracket, I can fit a Rode Mic (sideways), Lumicube light and a Lilliput ext monitor. Durable and well crafted. 5

[0.1 lb] I have no complaints about the mount adapter, it's exactly what it says it is, a cold shoe mount adapter. It's built very sturdily and does not wiggle or move when screwed onto my camera rig. Very happy, would definitely recommend. 5
