The Apple USB-C to Lightning cable may work, but it's also very possible that you may get an error message saying something like “Cannot use device" or "The connected device requires too much power.” The Apple cable is intended for syncing and charging iOS devices but the Rode SC15 cannot be used to sync or charge iOS devices. The SC15 cable is the recommended accessory to use.
