Extend your original Sony PXW-FX9 camera handgrip using this Chrosziel Sony PXW-FX9 Multiport Extension Cable 20ftfrom Chrosziel. The cable measures 20' in length and allows you to extend the original FX9 handgrip for use with optional extension arms and rigs. It has a female Multiport connector on one end and a male Multiport connector on the other end. One cable tie is also included.

Like other Sony remote grips, you'll need to disassemble it from its factory setup and insert the grip part into our remote extension handle. A: The SmallRig 19.5V Regulated D-Tap Power Cable for Sony PXW-FX9 (B&H# SM2932) is regulated to deliver the correct voltage (19.5VDC) and to support the appropriate amperage draw for the FX9. It is likely the case that the same barrel plug (and voltage and supported amperage) will also work for many other applications. Unfortunately, neither manufacturer supplies any plug/pin/hole size specifications nor amperage draw specifications. Since using an off-label item inappropriately for powering your monitor could result in damage (and could also void the warranty), we are unable to recommend it. [None] I’m glad someone finally made this adapter. It’s easy to install and works great. I attach the grip to the FX9 body for use with my Easyrig. Perfect placement. I think it would be great if this came with an adapter that converted the stock Sony hand to receive an ARRI rosette. Then, you could still use the stock handle if you wished. The benefit being that you could mount the grip to the body, the Sony handle, or any third party rosette extension arm. Otherwise, the Sony arm becomes useless. 5

[0.39 lb] I have this as part of the whole Movcam cage system. It's not mentioned in the B&H description, but this individual piece is designed to work in conjunction with MOVCAM 303-3901 base plate. I don't see any way to mount the bottom screws to the camera without the Movcam baseplate. I'd love to be proven wrong, as that would open up more options. This side bracket is one of the main reasons I bought the Movcam cage. The rear rosette is in a unique position and is great for relocating the stock handle or installing a wooden rosette handle when shooting with an Easyrig. 5
