This SHAPE clamp is the perfect solution. Manually tighten the screw as strongly as needed. It's also wide enough to add enough surface area against the phone to prevent it from wiggling. Metal build quality A+

[0.8 lb / 0.3 kg] Shapes smartphone clamp is a one-trick pony, but it does that one function in a sturdy, reliable fashion. After using cheap plastic clamps, I finally found this one, which has an internal spring to assist in securing the phone, but primarily uses an easy-to-turn and large screw at the top to hold the phone tight. I use it to mount my phone on an L-bracket that I had, making it easy to shoot steady video, even with  an external mic clamped on to the phone. Security is worth paying a bit extra and this unit is less expensive than many others I looked at. Good stuff.

[0.8 lb / 0.3 kg] In combination with a tripod, this clamp allows to add stability (and therefore sharpness) to your iPhone photographs. Easy to install on any tripod. You can orient it any way you want. it will larger phones such as Max. It does the job perfectly.

[Aluminum] I bought this to mount my cell phone on everyting from a tripod to a steady cam. It holds the phone securly and gently. I also like the feel and quality of the mount. The inclusion of a cold shoe mount on top is a bonus. Ideal to mount a little LED light or an external microphone.

[0.29 lb] I wanted 3 things in a smartphone mount: grip to hold the phone tightly; depth to hold the phone with the case on it; and a cold shoe mount. This has all 3. My Samsung S10e with its case are going nowhere. In fact, if you tighten it too much, you could damage the phone. It has three 1/4 threaded holes to mount on a tripod: one on the bottom and one on each side. Thus, the phone could be mounted horizontally/landscape or vertically/portrait.

I can't say that this one can't be broken, but one would certainly have to work hard on that and use some tools eg. hammer ;) Made of aluminium alloy it's also rather lightweight .
