A: It is indeed all metal, however, I use it on the cold shoe mount from my camera and I've never had a problem from slipping. Furthermore, I usually place a heavy Atomos Shogun and it holds just right. I would recommend this.

[0.24 lb] I'm a stills photographer and these lights are an outstanding addition to my kit. I normally use them on about 60% power and they last for 1-2 hours, and I really like that I can set them to any color or any temperature of white light. These have been one of the best additions to my gear bag in a long, long time. Strongly recommend. 5

[0.24 lb] Simplifies a lot of setups if you there are metal objects to stick them too. For the 30x you generally need two but that's because the lights are pretty heavy. At the price these clips are it's not really an issue. 5

[0.24 lb] These really come in handy for mounting the Pavotubes in areas that would traditionally take more work. We've used them on drop ceiling fixtures, florescent light fixtures, even directly c-stands. Makes for a fast moving production. 5

The power output is superb compared to the competition. I highly recommend these lights for any studio based Photographer, especially within a small space. 5
