Q: 1. Is the notch on the top right when the emulsion is facing you?

A: Yes. The notch is on the top right of the CatLABS X Film 80 II Black and White Negative Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) if the emulsion is facing you.

Q: 2. I recently bought this and the film is struggling to go around properly without tearing and the lever doesn't turn as using the camera. Please help?

A: Hey, I was there before. I don't think we need to attach the film much on the lever. I would say just a little bit. You might feel it's gonna loose at any minute. Give it a shot. Good luck!

Q: 3. is this a c41 film ?

A: Yes it is. The Film Photography Project Low ISO Color Negative Film (35mm Roll film, 24 Exposures),BH #FIFPP1080, requires C-41 film processing.

Q: 4. How long (time) is 144 movie frames?

A: The Lomography LomoKino 35mm Film Camera shoots at 3-5 frames per second. And the frame is smaller than 35mm. So 144 frames in seconds is approximately, 28 seconds to 48.

Q: 5. Where is this film made?

A: The following item is made in Belgium.

Q: 6. what type of projecter should i use to show the movies?

A: It's come with the reel?

Q: 8. Is this camera used for making movies?

A: Yes! It uses 35mm film and you can create your own movies with it.

A: I use them to store anything I want to keep dry, like ends of Q tips I use for cleaning the camera when not at home.

[0.135 lb] Great film to try out 4x5 or test new gear, a little stiff in contrast but for the price I really can't complain

[0.135 lb] Great colors, especially in studio work. I develop and scan myself and find it easy to work with as it's super flat and has a clear base.

[0.135 lb] I've been using Catlabs 80 in 120 for quite a while. I just tried a box of 4x5 and love it. It looks like Efke PL-25, which has been my goto landscape film for decades, only the CL80 is about a stop faster. And my freezer supply of PL-25 is finite and dwindling fast.

It's nice to have a good alternative now that Kodak is pricing themselves out of the sheet film market.

I shoot at ISO 40 and develop in ABC+ Pyro 1:2:75, 22c for 8 minutes in a Jobo 3010 at rotation just below F.

My only complaint with Catlabs 80 in 4x5 is the box. Thin, flimsy paper that is hard to reassemble and close.

Note to Catlabs: Remember: We're in the dark, here! Don't make your film box a puzzle.
